Lahore Village

Went back here after 25 years the masala fish amazing as before travelled from London with my brother as we back in the day use to do this on regular basis. We got there at 11.55pm unaware of there new closing times as before use to be open till late hours of morning to be told by brother Khalid we are closed. We told him we have come all way from London and he so kindly let us eat in and we also took take out for our family back. Your a top lad brother and we will be returning soon at an earlier time and enjoy your amazing dishes Thank you

Absolutely enjoyable time at the Lahore Village Restaurant. You can get that Lahori feel and the local ambience. The food was excellent and the portions were big. The atmosphere in the restaurant was brilliant. The waiters were polite and friendly. Great service. Looking forward to going there again.

This Asian food restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere transported me to the heart of Asia. The decor was tasteful and complemented the dining experience beautifully. The menu was a diverse journey through Asian cuisines, with options ranging from Thai curries to Japanese sushi. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavors and impeccably presented. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge of the menu were impressive, adding to the overall dining pleasure. Fresh ingredients and a commitment to culinary excellence were evident in every bite. This restaurant is a hidden gem for anyone seeking an unforgettable Asian dining adventure.

In the photos are the large mixed grill, the chicken handi, half portion fries and naan. We also ordered full lamb handi and grilled chicken breast but I couldn't take photos of them. I cannot fault the food at this place. It's simple tasty and affordable. For everything we paid almost 20 quid between 4 of us. The lamb handi in particular was delicious and the grill was better than you find in most. The only reason why it's not 5 stars is because of the variation in service. I came here on a busy Saturday night and the food took almost 50 minutes to arrive and you have to constantly try and fight for a waiters attention! But none the less it was acceptable service. I have been here before when they haven't been as busy and the service is rubbish. If you keep that in mind you'll have a great time!

Second Review Eat our lunch here today. Service wasn't great at all today unfortunately although it wasn't that busy this afternoon. Lamb was a bit dry compared to last time, we tried the full chicken and chicken steak this time. Overall it was OK. I think they need to check their broken glassware and improve on their cleanliness. First Review Haven't eat here in say a few years, we were spread to go else where but seen this was busy so thought we would try it out. The place is really busy so be prepared to wait a while... luckily there was 8 of us so we got in as there was space for a big group. Service is a bit slow as its really busy and one downside is that they bring the starters and the mains together so by the time you want eat your mains and naan they might be a little cold. We ordered 1kg lamb and it was beautiful. It was cooked right and the couldn't find any faults. They didn't have any chicken sheehs kebabs so we had meat ones which were really good. The drinks are all European brand so when you drink coke can or bottle they are from Belgium so it doesn't taste the same. Overall food is really nice, chops were ok as well cooked right which you don't get everywhere. Definitely would eat again!
