East Meadway Chinese Take-away

Visiting the area and decided to order from Dora Pan as our original choice would not deliver. Despite being further away, this was not an issue for Dora Pan. We chose the Chicken Ball Special Boxes, one per person and some chow mein and Four seasons to share. Our order arrived in good time, the driver polite and the food piping hot. We very quickly realised we would never get through it all. The boxes contained 4 balls, chips and rice and came with a huge tub of sauce. We were slightly confused why we only had one tray of chow mein when the menu says two, and two trays of the Four seasons, unless one was part of the chow mein - but we still had plenty. Complimentary prawn crackers and vegetable spring rolls had been included, which was very much appreciated. The food was delicious. The best chinese we have ever tasted. Not greasy and full of flavour. The meats just melted in the mouth. No chewy bits. The duck was fabulous but sadly I only got the one piece. Even our very critical son liked the prawn crackers. We had so much left over that we took it home with us the next day to finish off. In all, there was enough to provide dinner for 7. Our only complaint - It's 200 miles away from home. But if ever back in the area, we know what dinner will be.

I have a food allergy and genuinely can’t remember the last time I ordered Chinese without a drama. For this reason I very rarely order Chinese, not worth the risk or drama! These guys dealt with the allergy requirements brilliantly, adjusted the dishes, food was delivered within the promised timeframe, and was hot as well as delicious. Will only use here from now on.
