Friendly staff on arrival. Clean room and a lovely breakfast. Very happy. I chose this hotel as it has a car park which is very convenient. It is in the town so you will hear night life on the weekend but we slept incredibly well. Very comfy mattress! Thank you for a lovely stay!

The hotel common areas are very luxurious and are a great place to spend some time, as we did with our wider family. The rooms are standard Novotel - maybe slightly on the small side and starting to age slightly but still good. The standout part of the hotel is the staff - everyone would stop for a chat and be really interested in helping us or hearing what we were up to. This cannot be an accident, they are really well hired as this doesn't feel like training - they are so genuine in their interactions. From the reception to the bar and restaurant everyone made us feel super-welcome; we would definitely rebook again.

Novotel certainly doesn't scream luxury when you hear the name but a peek inside the building will certainly change your mind. I was here for a conference and the venue was beautiful, I was actually blown away with how amazing it was. Staff were very helpful and friendly as you would expect. An impressive hotel for sure but I cannot comment on the rooms as we hadn't stayed at this hotel so I never got to see the rooms.

Came to Birmingham for a family wedding and visit the sea life centre, firstly the location is brilliant if your visiting the sea life centre or shopping in the city centre. The Hotel has a car park which is another advantage, the staff are pleasant, especially the guys at night shift who are really funny. We had dinner in the restaurant and the service we received by Marina was brilliant such a lovely young lady very friendly and approachable a credit to the hotel. P.S the rooms could do updating but that didn't put us off from returning again.

Booking was straightforward with the best price available on the hotel website. Large welcoming foyer and friendly staff. The room was good sized with a lobby and separate toilet (not sure that I like that arrangement). There were tea and coffee making equipment but no biccies (shame!). A frideg and safe were also in the 'lobby' with a wardrobe. The bathroom had a real bath but the plug seemed to be a poor fit in the plughole. There was a settee and work-station in the room and a massive TV opposite the bed. Overall comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was excellent as always with a wide variety of hot and cold foods. The cooked buffet section again had a good variety with special mention to the tasty sausages and mushrooms. My only real gripe is about the lobby by reception. I was at a conference and spent some time in the lobby during breaks. I was disappointed to find that the wide seats by the tables were hard and uncomfortable to sit in. A few of the armchairs by the window were also looking tired and were also uncomfortable to sit in.

Afternoon tea review 🫖 Booked an afternoon tea for two online. The staff was outstanding. They were perfect: professional, polite and efficient. The afternoon tea was great and tasty. It’s definitely worth the price. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and spacious. The atmosphere is relaxed. I would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful stay with a good breakfast inclusive. The room was decent in size and well-appointed. I was feeling warm, and the staff member (Salo) got me a modern pedestal fan in no time. Lift security is good, and one can only ascend if one taps their room key on the panel. Staff was very helpful. Only one issue: their car park is managed by a third party and the charge is steep. Thanks

Bit far from where I was going the next day but was my choice! Lovely staff and a fantastic Jazz musician was playing. Drink selection could be better but there are plenty places around to get what you want. The communal areas were modern, cosy and just amazing to be able to relax in. My bathroom was dirty but when I raised this (politely) with staff and asked it to be cleaned they moved me immediately which was unexpected. They also gave me a free upgrade for the trouble which was kind of them.

We held another very successful event at this great hotel yesterday and, once again, we were so impressed with everything. Its a great venue for our 100 delegates, the food is fab and all the staff are brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone is so friendly. Can't recommend them enough!
