After a busy day working as health professional I came across this chip shop , the island house , service was fast , premises was very clean , staff where friendly and welcoming and they where more then happy to apply my blue light discount to my order ( they pointed out that I could use my blue light card , I was unaware) which saved me money which definitely helps .
I cannot Recommend this chip shop enough , food was delicious, cooked fresh and staff were lovely !!

Some of the best fish and chips in Birmingham. Love you have have mixed chips, half battered, half normal. Very welcome addition. Location is great too, near cricket grounds/Canonhill Park.

Amazing staff, Tayla was very attentive to me as soon as I walked in....I previously walked out of a chip shop due to bad service, I did leave them a review. This on the other hand was very different. So much on the menu Tayla explained everything and I got my food and left very satisfied, would definitely visit again.

Served by Michelle, she was such a superstar, talking me through the different options for my dietary requirements and making sure to add plenty of salt and pepper just the way I like it! The manager Stef was also there and had friendly way about him, will be back!

Went a couple of days ago and before going in was really worried as I have server anxiety and struggle to order food sometimes. However Michelle served me and was super patient with me, this means a lot and I’ll definitely be back knowing that such great people work here!!!!!

This is the first time I’ve used this establishment and it’s been the best thing I’ve ever done! The food was amazing but the customer service was unreal! The lady who served me was Michelle and she was just so nice and friendly…I will definitely be coming back

Saw the shops promotion online so thought I’d pop in for a visit on Friday, the food was very nice, service was quick and the member of staff who served us (Michelle or something similar to that) was extremely helpful and got our large order perfect!
Will definitely be back next Friday!!
