I knew it was going to be a long day day, so I bought water with me and very comfy shoes, it's really quite warm, so didn't wear a coat. There are loads of toilets which are extremely clean, lots of places to eat and drink, but no alcohol.
Parking was good and the free bus was good.
Had a lovely visit last April during Insomnia #70 despite my flat feet and lack of insoles destroyed me with all the walking. Had a great time meeting friends and people I’d watched online and was able to explore a whole new city with its own life. I will also say the on-site medic team were very accommodating with aiding me with my splinters caused by my flat feet.
The cloakroom and shuttle bus were both not on or shut even though it was advertised as open when we booked tickets. Thankfully, a lovely young lad at the entrance offered to look after our wet coats until we left. Every member of staff was lovely and offered to photograph us with the"friends" sets. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly.
We went to the caravan and motor home show and I literally couldn't belive how many there was to chose from it was mindblowing . Really well organised with so much to see with stuff there for all budgets .
Also being for a classic car show and that was a brilliant day to
We went to this event grease experience as a family. It was fantastic, the layout the scene and especially the actors. They did different scenes around the event and got everyone involved. There are many activities to do aswell. People were dressed up including me . Absolutely loved it ❤️ 😀
Visited for a sporting event. Plenty of parking. admission was straightforward as tickets were bought in advance. As it was an evening event resorts world had closed
We went to the immersive Grease event hosted by Secret Cinema. It was a wet day but once we got in and the entertainment started it was great. Signage OUTSIDE leading to the area where the event was being held could have been better. Impressed that the train went directly there.
For the first time, we went to the Grand Design Show. It was okay, although the exhibitors said it was smaller than last year. We don't think we will be returning, although we got free tickets. Parking is very expensive if you do not pre-book. It costs £17.95, but if you book online you get £5.00 off.
The shuttle.servjce is very good to get you to the venue
We enjoyed the free tote bags and goodies. We brought cheese and flapjacks. Food.isnvery expensive so take.your own of you have a family.of there is group of you...
Halls 17-20 are easy to Navigate along with restrooms that are in between both halls (if it's a big event you may have to queue for the toilets) The halls are huge offering a lot of free space to walk around (depending on the layout of the event)
Massive thanks to #Gravity and #slammeduk to one of the best car shows i have personally been too. Organised it perfectly.
Overall this is easy to navigate around with plenty of signs and wheelchair access to the halls. From Birmingham international it is a fair walk however it's direct and easy to navigate
Was there for Gravity car show 23.
Generally a good experience as the cars on display were mind blowing. The food and drink areas were OK if somewhat pricey... As expected.
Plenty of toilets for all types.
The NEC security staff are a little over zealous though. Shouting at people as if it was the evacuation of Kabul airport. On another occasion, letting people go outside and then not letting them back in (even though we had wristbands on) unless we went all the way back to the original entrance on the opposite side of the halls. For this reason I give a star less.
