Visited this time for The Baby Show 2024. Had a good day with plenty of good retailers at the event. I've attached pictures of some of the deals found at The Baby Show as prior to our visit we found it so difficult to find what offers they have available at The Baby Show, so I hope it helps others get an idea of what to expect. One downside of the NEC is that it can be a bit of a walk from the car park to the exhibition halls (depending on which one your attending. The biggest downside is the extortionate parking prices which is why I couldn't rate the experience 5 stars. People are already paying high prices for the event and then to be given a £18.95 car parking cost is crazy (£5 cheaper if booked online in advance).

Went to the autosport car show some very impressive cars there the live show was brilliant lots of noise, Stunts, The smell and smoke of burning rubber as the cars raced round doing doughnuts and handbrake turns. Then swamp thing monster truck came out that took the noise to a whole new level when he started doing a doughnut it just echoed the whole place with the roar of it's engine. The show itself only lasted an hr but it was action packed with different classes of cars racing round the area then motorbikes doing burnouts and wheelies. When the show was finished we had a walk round the different stalls that were up there was even this 1 part of the place where they had set up a mini circuit and was full of R/C cars racing and drifting there were a few stalls that were selling model cars thought they were a bit over priced, F1 t shirts, watches, Carbon brake discs from an F1 car which had been turned into a clock with pictures of different F1 drivers in the centre of them. The parking is rather expensive at £25 but overall a great day out we really enjoyed ourselves

Visited here for a gamfest event with some gaming friends. It was ran quite good to be fair and it was fantastic and money spent well. I did find the security who were not part of the event a tad excessive. They were clearly bullied at school. The event itself was memorable and there was lots to see and do. The freebies were quite a nice touch and the gamers were genuinely nice people and fun to be around.

Food expo & restaurant show are both held in NEC this year which is very efficient both for the participating companies and visitors. Being equipped with huge parking area makes it very easy to get to if you prefer to drive there and spend your whole day. You can also get there via coaches and train from Birmingham.

I visited during the Insomnia Gaming Festival. Huge place. Easy to get lost. The signage of the whole complex is too sparse. Ask for directions. Several places to eat and have a drink.

Recently visited Birmingham NEC to see the Photo and Video Show. Great location whether you are driving or coming by public transport. Car parking is expensive (£17) if you don't book online in advance. Plenty of places to get food and drink and fully accessible for the disabled.

Great place having great events but I don’t see the need for £18 parking. We attended Channel Live which was a lot smaller than previous years but still looked good.

Visited to see the classic car and restoration show. The NEC is a huge complex with numerous exhibition halls so there is often more than one show on at a time. There is plenty of parking but it's expensive at £17.95 a day. You can save £5 by booking online in advance. There are free shuttle buses to take you to/from the car parks to the main entrance. There are a number of hotels on the site along with various bars and restaurants. Inside the exhibition halls there are also places to eat and drink and ample toilet facilities. The restaurants are expensive so take a packed lunch if you want to save some money. The venue is served by the nearby Birmingham International rail station on the West Coast mainline and it's also near to the local motorway network.

Motorcycle live never fails to impress, the event is brilliant loads to see and do. We went mid week far better for parking and being able to get round the displays and shops. The ticket price was only £23 for an adult and £2.50 for under 18 well worth the trip will definitely be going again
