Amazing food. This is our first time here, and after hearing rave reviews about this place, it certainly didnt disappoint. All the sandwiches are huge and I was told the side of brussel sprouts that were ordered were absolutely delicious. We ordered Latkas to share w the table as an appetizer and they were delicious, plus the bagel chips that were brought to the table after sitting down were a huge hit. We will definitely be back again!

Went on a Saturday around 10am with 4 people. Pretty crowded but we got a table outside easily. Service was great. They have a good drip coffee. We had the the beauty, a bagel with lox, some latkes with sour cream and apple sauce, and a smoked meat hash with a fried egg. The bagels are really good, even better with salmon/cream cheese/capers. The latkes were amazing. Will definitely come back again when in Birmingham.

Mile End is a really cool place. From it's location to the park and stadium to its interior, it's just cool. The menu is designed to reflect that of a Montreal delicatessen. So naturally it has staples like pastrami and corned beef. Food and staff were fantastic. I can't wait to go back and have more from the menu!

We will definitely be back! Rueben was one of the best ever. Chicken Schnitzel sandwich was like a delicious BLT but with a HUGE piece of chicken added—-great flavors. We tried the Hoyt dogs, poutine, and red potato salad and everything was really great. Kind, quick service. Tons of options. We can’t wait to go back and try more.

Great option for breakfast, brunch in Birmingham downtown. Very different from the otherwise standard brunch menus we see. Everything on the menu we have tried has been great. The pancakes are extra special.

It was a bit of wait for my cold brew coffee, which was quite small for the $4.95 price tag. Seems like a nice spot for pastries and coffee on a Saturday mornings. Based solely on a quick grab and go coffee I give it three stars. Looking at the food selection it would probably be higher if I had a meal.

I had heard good things and really tried to like this place but our experience was pretty poor. I was hoping that this would be a place that we could go in and get a fast and durring Saturdays when Birmingham is usually slammed at popular spots. it may be a better experience if you go for breakfast or lunch as it looks like those are what this kind of restaurant is probably targeting. We went in the early evening and had a pretty unenthusiastic staff seat us outside in front of a beautiful sunset and take our order. We had to ask a couple times for the beers and drinks that we ordered as we had a bigger party and they did not want to bring or refill our orders. The food was okay but it was deli food and it was not prepared as described in the menu or shown in photographs on the restaurants promotional items. My wife had a reuben that came with corned beef, but no dressing and no sauerkraut. I asked the waitress if there was supposed to be sauerkraut on a reuben and she told me "yes". I pointed out the oversight she said "they're probably out or something." No attempt was made to figure out if they actually were out or correct that error. we had a big group and we were prepared to stay at a place that had good beer on draft that did not have a long wait and spend some time there and spend some money but the staff we're so unenthusiastic that we moved on.

It's very new, it opened on the 11th of this month. The food was wonderful, I ordered "The Big Juicy" sandwich, it was full of flavor! It consisted of ground beef and smoked meet, topped off with pickles, onions, Russian sauce and cheese. The side was, quinoa tabouli, it tasted so fresh you! My mom ordered the lunch special, Half sandwich and soup. From what I understand she really loved her food, she ate it pretty fast! They also have hand squeezed grapefruit juice!! Can't beat that! The service was great! Our server was very attentive to the table and he answered all of my questions without any hesitation and I could tell he knew the menu. It was very nice to go to a place where employees seemed happy and also have a great service without any issues. No mess ups. It felt nice. Some places that have been around here in alabama for a while, gotten to comfortable that the service lacks bad... It was nice to get Great service for once! Thank you. The best wishes!
