For such a highly rated place I sure was expecting more and left a bit disappointed. The falafel was tasty and had some nice spice to it, but it was nothing out of ordinary or memorable. The ambiance of the restaurant is very low key, I asked for a plate for sit in and they packaged it to go.. while I was eating there, the staff behind the counter were - what seemed to be - arguing with their manager on their cleaning shifts right in front of customers. Service just ok.

Every time we are in town we come here and it never disappoints! Great pita, phenomenal meat, reasonably priced, and the sauces bring the whole dish together.

This was a great surprise. We came into town for an appointment and just googled restaurants in the area. Everything tasted so yummy. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap, grape leaves, baba ganoush, and falafels. Before we left we had to have pistachio baklava which was to die for. Our next trip to Birmingham we will stop here again.

The best Falafel in Town. No doubt. Very authentic and tastes great. The Pita Falafel sandwich is very fulfilling and the size of their falafels can keep you full for half a day. Great place for Falafels in Birmingham.

Lots of shortcuts in their food, I think their rice is Rice A Roni. That kind of reflected on everything we ordered. Better places to get a falafel. One highlight from our order was the hummus.

Extremely tasty food. I highly recommend the beef shawarma and their hot sauce is great. Note the link to the menu on Google is for the restaurant that used to be here.

I can't get enough, and I dont go often enough. Every time I go its packed. The food never disappoints. Simple, authentic taste. Just plain good! The pictures don't do the food justice. I either start digging in forgeting to take a pic or it's so full inside I go outside to eat at the cafe sidewalk tables and the sun🌞 is blaring causing a shadow🌚 from my phone. I'm sorry! It still looks😋 good. My daughter got "Chicken Shawarma " I got "Hummus, Falafal, Pita Bread, Fries and sandwich topping.. onion n pickled veggies" . If your ever in Birmingham.. in the downtown, hospital area... check them out. This time we went, we walked from the Jefferson County Courthouse 👀, yup a half n hour walk... and could have drove 7 min... 🤣🤣🤣. Hey, parking is not fun in these parts and the walk was nice, we only paid for parking once. Hey, where are the bikes you rent in Bham? Anyone know??
