Haidilao Hot Pot Birmingham

We visited Haidilao for the first time today. I have to say the customer service and the staff gave 5star service from the moment we entered until we left. Thoughtful touches like aprons, plates, extra chopsticks, cutlery and hair ties are all neatly hidden away underneath your tables on draws. We ordered 4 different broths and a large selection of meats, seafood and vegetables. All of the food was a very high quality and very fresh. The whole experience at haidilao is really fun and entertaining. It’s definitely something to experience. We will definitely be returning as the food was delicious. 5stars all round.

It was a bit of a struggle getting to know how everything works. Language barrier didn't help. Very cool restaurant though, they have a cute robot that takes the food around, but the robot speaks in what we assumed was mandarin. And we had no idea what we were supposed to do. Some guests gave us a chuckle when we stared blankly at the cute robot. The structure of the whole thing is confusing with what is free and what is paid for at the self-service station. We needed up getting too much food as we had very little guidance. Shame, the food was above average. Just a bit annoying if you're not familiar with the language of the style of restaurant.

We came across it by accident but we are so glad we did. We were greater by happy the manager she was so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. It was something completely different as you cook the food your self price wise is so reasonable oh and I love the robot trolleys. We will definitely be back

Always so much fun! Thoroughly enjoy interactive meal times and scrolling through the iPad before everything arrives fresh. Staff always spend time entertaining toddler and going the extra mile fetching fruit plates and giving little free toys. Ben quite a few times and every time we’ve been, it’s always been good! Have to get the 4 pan broth if 3 people or more!!
