Superb food. Had the wild mushroom lasagne which was delicious and banana and caramel brioche for desert. Excellent food and the staff we're attentive and friendly. Thoroughly recommend.

Really good food and service. Not too expensive. The flavours and attention to detail in each course lifted the menu above the norm at this price. For example: we had a bread and olives starter. The bread was good quality and lightly toasted, and the olives had a lovely flavour.
There was nothing bland in the entire meal. We enjoyed all of it.

Whilst Visiting friends in Allington I was taken to this pub/restaurant for lunch. I can honestly say it was the best Sunday lunch I have tasted in the last five years. Staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area

Beautiful venue for a special meal. Great selection of wines. Lovely friendly staff. A menu of great choices. Cooked and presented to perfection. What more could you ask for. You will not be disappointed in choosing the Thatch.
