The Tipsy Cow Bar

Arrived at tipsy cow on a quiet afternoon, the sun rays beaming down on a hot and humid day. We took our seats at the nicest table there. Drinks were reasonably expensive and the food was very delicious. I got myself a pizza and it was great. Toilets were a stretch to find. And service was fairly great. The mobile app for this place was not working and very broken and out of date, it needs a revisit and an update, everything had to be ordered in person. That being said it did not take away from a good evening.

The environment is very nice! They are dog friendly which is a big plus for me! However the burgers aren't that nice, just because the patty is very rubbery, you can tell that is not a good quality burger pattie... It is like the cheap, everything except meat burger patties... If they upgraded it it would be one of the best burgers I have had :) the sauce, bun and everything else are really yummy!

On arrival there was just one, rather sad looking bar person serving drinks at the bar, and she seemed to be the only person working. There were 5 people waiting to be served, patiently waiting, but showing signs of obvious irritation - Myself included. I observed how she poured a glass of wine with the precision of a molecular scientist, to achieve the exact measurement. Ultimately, it was my turn to be served, and I got two drinks and sat down. We then had food in the photos. My friend was happy with her scampi and chips, and I had the meat pie. The peas were dry and felt overcooked, whilst the pie was just above body temperature. Not great. We had a further drink and left. Could be so much better.

One of my favourite places in Bournemouth however, on last Friday, we went for dinner with friends and the waitress kept bringing the bill and saying that she was doing it so we knew “how much we’d spent” as if we couldn’t afford it. We go there very often and I was surprised we’ve been treated like this.

Came here with a few girls for a friend's birthday. Kababs and dirty tables, soaking wet floor by the bar, took ages to get served by 2 girls. Ladies toilet looked liked someone had urinated on the floor and lots of shouting drunken men everywhere. It was an absolute mess and a shambles. We moved on because we were sure a fight would brake out as these men had far too much to drink and were loud and leary. Should have been moved on. A real shame.
