Situated in the charming Burton on the Water, this cafe is an ideal spot for breakfast or brunch. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, complete with ambient lighting that adds to the authentic old-English cafe vibe. The staff is not only friendly but also attentive. The menu offers a good range of options at reasonable prices. I opted for the fish and chips, which I’d rate a 6.5 out of 10. One drawback was the cleanliness of the utensils, prompting me to eat with my hands instead. Overall, this is a cozy establishment where you can enjoy quality time in a comfortable setting.

Just loved the location.... We came here for enjoying some scones and coffee and just perfect for Cotswold experience....loved the clotted cream and scones....amazing ambience and they have great little pretty decorative things around inside the restaurant. Can get very busy on weekends....

Had some lunch here which was quite nice. Some dirty fries and cream tea - the scone was massive! Portions and price was okay. I liked the decorations, which we sat upstairs because it was quieter but it was quite cold upstairs so maybe not.

We went in on a very busy lunch time, managed to accommodate us with a toddler. Food was fast and fresh. Portions were very good. I would visit again.

Super Tea Shop. We stopped for lunch and enjoyed a great chicken burger 🍔 and good sized baked potato which was too big for my wife, but good and tasty. Nice friendly staff made our visit complete. Thanks 😎 👍

Beautifully located next to the rear but very busy We managed to get a table inside. The staff were great. The food was very basic but enjoyable. I ordered pull pork along with cream tea and a can off Coke . Place had a nice atmosphere & would certainly recommend 👍

Absolutely loved the breakfast that we had here. Scones were amazing. Staff are so nice and friendly. We sat outside but there were wasps around and well we are quite afraid of them and I guess we overreacted a bit. Staff brought candles on the table to drive them away. Anyway we had to go inside and finish the breakfast. It’s a great vibe inside too.

A nice place for a meal and to rest your feet after walking up and down the village and for us, while it rained. Food was good and reasonably priced. Unique interior deco. No alcohol drinks on menu and none in the fish (cod) & chips.

My wife and I came here for brunch. Good food and very reasonably priced. The staff were super friendly and patient with us as we browsed the menu. Very cozy and charming indoor seating full of character, and awesome location just beside the River if you want to eat outdoors. Coffee was very very good, scones were too. Sausage bap was delicious. Hotdog was a little letdown, the Owner should look to improve the hotdog sausage and fry them instead of boil (strange that the sausage in the bap was really good). Chilli con-carne on the hotdog was good, though. This place also has a little “museum” gift shop of model villages, some very rare, all beautiful. Worth to spend 5-10mins browsing their very large collection, and maybe pick up one or two. This place is a gem and definitely worth a stop if you’re visiting Burton-on-the-water.
