Delicious food and drinks. Dinner a bit on the pricey side but quality is outstanding and we felt was well worth the price. Chocolate cake for dessert was also very yummy. Would definitely come back.

Stumbled across this little gem of a pub just purely on passing. I’ve ate around but honestly found this to be really good value for money and homemade tasty food. We went back twice as other restaurants weren’t up to par. Ideal for any time of day food is top

Random day out on the train, popped in for Sunday roast,was ample serving at a reasonable price. Have visited before, quite bust as always but there's seating up/down stairs. Quick service, got chatting to nice young waiter who'd just moved there from Hartlepool...... friendly staff, can't fault it.

We arrived for lunch and were informed that the ovens were being repaired, sandwiches were available but hot food ordered would be accepted within 20-30 minutes. Bar staff came to our table to let us know as soon the ovens were fixed and we could order hot food. Great service from friendly staff who kept us informed. Food was fresh and high quality.

Cracking welcome, kids quickly catered for re. entertainment. Bar staff are great and kitchen staff were adaptable to our needs. Cosy with a really friendly atmosphere.

Three of us plus two dogs went in for lunch to escape the rain. Despite the pub being rammed full, the staff were excellent and very friendly and the food was very good quality and good portion sizes. Would recommend for sure and visit again when next in the area.

We went in for just a drink on the Thursday and saw the food then. We had to go back. We both had the bad boy burger. It was one of the best burgers I’ve had. Luckily for me, my girlfriend couldn’t finish hers. So I helped out and ate that. It was very busy and the staff were helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend there and will be going back.
