Food was spot on for me. Small f&c's with gravy, most enjoyable. Poor lady was by herself so there was a about a 20 min wait, but fish fried fresh (try saying that quickly 🤣). Weirdo family in corner, staring and talking about us for some reason, but apart from that, fab 👌

Incredible service on the 3rd of July. Sadly didn’t ask for the ladies name but she was working insanely hard running the front of house solo. She asked us about our day, was super polite and had a beautiful warm smile. Food being delicious was just an added bonus. Would recommend everyone who visits the lakes
Had fish and chips there the first night of arrival here in Bowness, found the fish was a good size and portion of chips plentiful. Food was lovely and staff friendly. Found the prices were only slightly dearer than where we live. Highly recommend this chip shop
We treated ourselves to fish and chips on the first night of our holiday - across our party we had fish (cod), scampi, Cumberland sausage and chips. Food was delicious and was reasonably priced, and it was very close to where we were staying - easily walking distance and food was still hot.
Excellent freshly cooked fish and chips. Sat inside as there are 3 little tables. Always go there when we visit Bowness on Windermere
Friday night fish & chips and lovely it was, the lady in the shop is really nice and cant fault the food, the batter was amazing and chips were spot on especially now we in new tattty season 👌
Another vote for the curry sauce, it was lovely! We also had battered cod which was a favourite.

Dont no why there are so many negative reviews for here. We got lunch and it was very reasonably priced and sizes were big. It was all lovely but the curry was particularly nice. The lady serving was also so lovely and friendly. We will definitely return when we are back in the area.
