The Arts Bar

Great server Bruce and the manager was also super - I didn't catch her name. They made every customer's experience excellent. The burger sauce is pretty amazing, and I'm always impressed when there's Monterey jack cheese on a burger. The fries are to die for 🥰 And a little secret: if you sit downstairs at the bay window you can have a view of the hills and the changing clouds, which are spectacular around 8pm (in April).

Spent my birthday here while exploring the Lake District. The staff we're extremely friendly, making us feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door. We had food and plenty of drinks and everything was top notch. The staff also spent time playing with my dog and giving her treats. Overall it was just a lovely experience.

Come in this evening as a young lady, Stacey greeted me with a very warm welcome. She had advised us of the history of the pub which I really liked. As a young female I don’t tend to feel safe by myself and going out drinking can be a scary experience. Stacey and staff this evening had made me feel extremely comfortable and safe. Massive kudos to Stacey she is doing fabulous managing this place could not be a better manager. Piper x

We had the absolute pleasure of having our first ever bottomless brunch at The Arts Bar. We travelled from the north east for a weekend away and if you’re looking for a bottomless brunch with superb cocktails and great food there’s no better place than The Arts Bar in Windermere for that. The manager was incredibly welcoming and hospitable our entire 90 minute stay. Prices are super reasonable, a good start to the weekend if you’re looking to get a little bit more than tipsy in a not so long period of time Thank you to the whole team at The Arts Bar who made our stay one to remember and we can’t wait to come back!

What a lovely little bar - we didn't eat so can't comment on the food but the atmosphere was excellent with very attentive staff, particularly Stacey who went to one of the sister bars to grab a spirit for one of the drinks we had requested. It has a lovely lakes feel about it, a roaring fire and a great range of drinks. Highly recommend!

We came here a few days ago to escape from the thick snow and get a warm by the fire. The staff were amazing and went out their way to provide an excellent service, especially Stacey. We stayed for a few drinks & took the opportunity to relax by the log fire. It was beautiful. I will definitely be back!
