Base Pizza

We had a variety of pizzas Every pizza was better than the last one. Staff were friendly and helpful. A slight mistake was made on the bill and staff rectified it immediately and refused a tip . This is a great food place and service. My two boys want to come back again this year. Hopefully we will have a reason to visit soon Thanks for great fresh food and service.

this pizza was so good!!! They do vegan cheese and you can add any toppings! I went for mushrooms, tomatoes and onion, spinach , it was DELICIOUS, Dough is naturally vegan and you have to go for the vegan garlic mayo!!!! Little bit of a wait for collection but to be expected as it’s Saturday night! Defintely recommend :) we collected

No reservation needed. I’ve noticed in UK, a lot of places want you to make a reservation because they are usually booked up. This restaurant does not take reservations but you get a seat very quickly and service was very efficient. The pizza is awesome, you can see the pizza being made because the oven is right at the front of the store. The crust was chewy but not doughy, feels very light. The topping was delicious as well. We were pretty hungry after a day of riding and hiking so we got two pizza (standard is 12”) but you easily share between two people. Definitely worth a try when visiting Lake District.

Friendly service, good pizza options, food came out fast and served hot. Very pricey compared to other high tourism places. I ordered "The Good Life" pizza and chose to get extra olives and removed artichokes. My husband got half "N'duja" and half "Stand by Your Lamb". The pizzas were on the smaller side compared to many other wood-fired pizzas. Overall the pizza's were okay and did the job.
