You always see reviews saying the "best" but I have been coming here for years when ever I visit bridlington... and I can say this is the best gluten free fish and chips I have had, the fact they use beef dripping to cook their gluten free just dose it for me .... I love this chippy and the service is second to none! Only thing that would improve this chip shop is if they sold gf curry sauce... as this was a planned visit I have a 12v cooker that re heats food to a boil so brought my own ... that's the only thing that I would change ... parking can be a nightmare and waite times are long but it's worth it 👌 price wise it's not cheap but you can tell its quality, I'd rather have quality over cheap poor quality produce. More chippys need to do what fish and chips at 149 are doing .... there's a reason you are queuing out side and waiting 30 minutes... that alone should tell you have good this place is!

Whenever I go to Flamborough or Bridlington I visit this chip shop. Been visiting with the family since they won the best chippy in uk award. They still make fantastic fish and chips I went for the £9.99 large haddock meal and was faultless like always. Really nice taste and a fantastic peace of fish what more can I say. If you’ve not been what are you waiting for?

We use 149 as it is so easy to access the online booking. Removes the need to queue and prebooked collection times are great. Lots of options with specials for families and smaller portions at reasonable prices. I love the mini fish as they are just the right size. Staff are friendly and service is good. Danielle was our server last night 😊

The whole place is efficiently run and great service with one taking orders then waiting turns to get your order which is excellent as you know your order is fresh and not just sat waiting. Danielle was run off her feet (as was all staff) taking a few massive orders before ours but still polite and professional and very friendly. My in laws are regulars and we will be now everything we visit the area.

Only 1 thing I personally don't like is the wooden forks , please bring plastic ones back.
