The food was great. This establishment has a very busy takeaway business. The restaurant is given priority but the service is rushed, diners are not given time to peruse the menu, they try to process you at the same speed as takeaway customers.

Simply the best fish and chips in town, always good. We had friends with kids visiting so we ate inside, kids menu and desserts went down well.

This chip shop/ restaurant came highly recommended from a local resident. It was a little awkward to locate being off the main high street but certainly worth the 5 minutes it took me. I found it to be very busy (a good sign) very clean, well organised, and the food looked amazing.
The restaurant was to the left side of the serving counter and looked like it went all the way to the back of the shop. I was very impressed with the layout and had my family been with me we would have definitely chosen to eat there. We each had cod and chips. I had one large cod and one regular cod. Large was definitely LARGE and easily fed me and my wife. Quality of the food was exceptional. I thoroughly recommend this place.

My previous review I mentioned one lady was difficult, and have seen other reviews, my experience today was much better, they even let me in a few mins early as they were ready to go.

Absolutely fantastic fish and chips. We all had standard cod size and my goodness they were more than standard I wonder what the large size would be like!!. Great service polite and helpful from them. The restaurant is lovely. Nicely decorated and super clean.
