I spent a week pottering around Dorset sampling many cream teas and the scone at the West Bay tea rooms was by far the best one I had.
Staff are lovely, the food fantastic. I'll be dreaming of that cream tea for months now....

Hurrah for this tea room. After trying others in West Bay only to be turned away or they got rid of their wheelchair accessible ramp we found this place. Wheelchair accessible, friendly and helpful staff. They made us feel welcome and not a hinderance. Food was lovely and reasonable prices. Thank you so much for a friendly accessible place. We will be back.
My husband and I had a fantastic cream tea. The scones were huge with a fantastic serving of jam and clotted cream. The staff were very welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

This is THE place to go for a cream tea or afternoon tea! Food was delicious. Service was excellent, staff super friendly. We had afternoon tea and every bite was so good, everything very fresh.
I took my friend to West Bay Tea Rooms for a birthday afternoon tea, I can't believe how delicious it was, there was so much selection to chose from!
This serves one person, I love food, but this was far too much for me, I was offered a take away box to take my leftovers home, which of course I didn't decline.
Parking is great and right next to the tearooms itself.
Anyway a huge thank you from us both, we shall see you again very soon. 😁
Great scones and menu, all fresh food. Nice coffee and hot chocolate too. Family run, nice.
Excellent Dorset cream tea , with homemade scones that were excellent would recommend and brilliant value for money 5stars all round.
Lovely little spot, the cakes were lovely especially the Dorset Apple Cake, the paninis are great too.
