Wahaca Brighton

My girlfriend and I were really hungry after arriving in Brighton as our final stop on our trip. We decided to stop for Mexican food and let me tell you that this is probably the best mexican food I've ever had. Everything tastes fresh. The cocktails are also really nice! If you ever feel bored, feel free to open a Wahaca in Belgium! I'll be a regular customer ;)

The restaurant is decorated beautifully and I recommend the veggie nachos, chicken quesadillas, and their spicy margarita. However, since being to the restaurant twice, I was not greeted that well when entering. This was due to the host not being there both times though the restaurant had only a few customers. Therefore the host and some of the staff members are unwelcoming.

Oh my gosh, I'm not sure where to start (in a positive way if you can't tell by my 5 star rating lol.) From the beginning we were met with smiling faces and such a lovely staff. A little wait to get to our table (which was fine btw) but we were offered free chips and lots of guacamole and free tequila shots for the wait. Food was superb (food coma much) I would definitely return again, even writing this review makes me hungry. I can very much recommend it.

Came here a while ago to order some food to takeaway. Service was immediate and friendly, I was offered a place to sit and also a drink while I waited. I used the toilet facilities while I was there and they were tidy and stocked. While I was waiting I noticed that the decor and ambiance was very welcoming and warm. My order was made very quickly and the food was to die for. Was seriously above my expectations and the whole experience has made me absolutely set on coming back for the full eat-in experience next time I'm back in Brighton.
