Went to Al Duomo for dinner last night with a group of 20 women. We had a an upstairs room to ourselves which was perfect. Danny and the rest of the wait staff were attentive and coped flawlessly with us changing seats between courses. The food was delicious and plentiful. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants a fun and casual group booking to consider Al Dumo.
If you’re looking for the best service, best Italian food and the best value for money In Brighton then get yourself to aldumos, thank me later
Staff were very welcoming and friendly towards a fellow Italian, and service was good! For an Italian restaurant in England the food tastes really great I must say. They know what to suggest from the menu for sure so ask for advice if you’re unsure of what to take! Definitely my favourite Italian restaurant in Brighton and whenever I’m not broke I love going there 😂
The first restaurant I went when I arrived in Brighton!
I’m a truly Italian food fan!
It was late for lunch so the place was quite empty, which was great for a chilled romantic meal.
The staff was very friendly, and I really enjoyed eating while listening to them speaking Italian in the background.
I ordered Carbonara, which was really good and truthful! We had tiramisu for desert, and was also very good!
Going back very shortly for sure!
Beautiful place just next to the Royal Pavilion. One of the best Pasta I have ever had. And delicious wood burnt pizza :-)... Drinks at 2-4-1, get tipsy and roll on the grass at the Pavilion.
I absolutely cannot stress how wonderful Sharon and the team made our wedding day.
The food, service and mezzanine were perfect as was the atmosphere.
Me and my new husband will be back for sure and I want to thank everyone at the restaurant for making our wedding day more special then we could have hoped!
Booked a table last minute as we were in Brighton during half term for a night with the kids.
We had a lovely memorable experience at this restaurant, one of the nicest meals out I’ve had in a long time which is why I felt compelled to write a review.
Service was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious, you could tell they had used fresh high quality ingredients for their cooking.
It’s just a shame we live so far away otherwise I would be returning regularly!
Thank you.
Dog friendly inside (waiter brought a bowl of water for her too). Good vegan (no desserts though) vegetarian and gluten free options. One guest had a dairy allergy and whilst the waiter did not know what dishes contained dairy, they showed a full allergens document so we could check. The food was very nice and really good portion sizes, but we did think it overpriced for what it was.
Probably the best Italian I've been to in Brighton, and believe me, there are quite a few of them. Very pleasant staff, lovely decor, amazing food. Definitely drop in if you are looking for authentic Italian food rather than a fast food type approach.
Al duomo to the rescue! We headed to Al Duomo after the restaurant we had booked wasn’t open due to a family emergency, it was clearly very busy however we were greeted by Hannah who somehow managed to get us a table and she arranged it very quickly despite how busy the restaurant was. All of the staff were warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome and never rushed which we really appreciate from restaurants, the food was excellent with the fried ravioli and the seafood risotto being particularly good! Thank you so much to Hannah for accommodating us at such short notice and for looking after us! Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of going to Brighton anytime soon!!
Delicious, authentic Italian food. Home made pasta and stone baked pizza were both delicious. All the desserts are home made too. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and it’s dog friendly too!
We visited this lovely restaurant on Bank Holiday Monday a few days ago. I was with my young family and we had 2 tables outside. The service was great, the food was amazing and the setting was lovely in the evening sunshine. Talk about value for money, the kids Veal portions were massive and so nice and also my Wife and I shared a pizza which was the best pizza I've ever tasted, I thought I had good pizza but not as good as here!! Thank you for looking after us before our drive home.
Very well situated near the Brighton Pavilion. Lovely atmosphere, exceptional service by Hannah who was very knowledgeable, efficient and accommodating to our preferences. We had an insalta mista and the Zuppa Di Pesce which was full of different types of fish and shellfish, absolutely delicious! For desserts we had the tiramisu which came with a little espresso on the side. All in all a lovely place to eat in next time we're in Brighton.
Edith was taking care of me and I had the most loveliest time! Highly recommend coming here the team is great and food is amazing.
Lovely Italian restaurant. Staff are very nice. Drinks are good and authentic Italian. Food is nice. Would recommend. Megan, Marco, Jack, Jamie, Elisa and Kyle have all been wonderful. Easily 5 stars.
