What a fabulous shop, full to the brim with wonders. Furniture, gifts and paint. You can even have a chat and get a fantastic coffee whilst you’re there. Michaels a bit of a dark horse with the coffee machine, Best flat white in town!! Janes eye for stylish beautiful pieces for your home shows in the shop.
A lovely cosy place yo stop and enjoy the furniture and have a coffee and slice of cake. I was visiting a friends from London and we stopped into this gorgeous gem of a cafe to sit by the fire and have coffee and cake. The owners were very welcoming chatting to us and telling u about local attractions. I must visit coffee shop for those who love a homely welcome rather than company based service!!!
Lovely place. Friendly staff, delicious food and a good range of drinks. Coffee is excellent. The setting in the antique shop - which used to be a garage - is very appealing.
Would have got 5 stars but there were dogs in the cafe area.
This is a charming, quirky cafe, which offers great quality coffee, sandwiches, cakes and snacks, complimenting the well chosen vintage furniture and tasteful pieces, alongside Annie Sloane paints and classes. Always changing stock and never predictable or boring.
These guys are both so lovely, (Michael has a cheeky dry humour, understood and appreciated by his regular clientele.)
A great little oasis just off the fairly mundane main road shopping area.
What a great find: Best tea and coffee for miles around (iced is a favourite), a delicious range of sandwiches, soups, snacks and cakes, all served in a treasure trove of antiques, gifts and creatively restored retro furniture. There's a log burner to warm you when there's a chill, and a sunny front terrace to enjoy on a summer's day. This haven is run by a delightful couple, Michael and Jane, who make you feel instantly welcome, ably assisted by a happy team of family and friends. Highly recommended.
A really cute little cafe with very kind and helpful staff. I popped in on a Sunday and was made an amazing coffee. Did just job! Also cool had some cool latte art

I called Franklin's about paint samples and to discuss some techniques, Janie was extremely helpful and gave really useful tips and advice. I then ordered painted to collect which worked easily. I look forward to their store being open for looking around as it would seem they have loads of exciting furniture pieces.
Quirky lunch location, boundary road, Portslade is changing, in my opinion, for the better. The cafe is good for lunch - tuna melt is very tasty and decent coffee.
Always get a takeway coffee here, best taste to price ratio by far. I've not eaten in there but the food options look very nice too.
Great shop with good quality furniture. Has an extensive selection of Annie Sloan paint and staff are very helpful. Always providing tips on how to achieve different painting effects.
Interesting combination of a cafe, antique and craft shop. Owners are very friendly and helpful.
Tasty food. Dogs welcome. Cosey stove to ditby on a cold day.
Really lovely find, super central but just tucked around the corner away from the traffic. I popped in on my lunch break and was served lovely food, really quickly, and sat basking in the sun :D
