Started to try some of the restaurants in Preston Street again and forgot how good Dig in the Ribs is, nachos with beans were great and the cocktails are good too.

Landed there for my first meal on my first visit in Brighton. Fell in love. Great place, friendly staff, amazing food. No way I'll visit Brighton without eating there.

The Best BBQ I Have Had This Side Of The Atlantic! If there is one things these guys know, It's MEAT! My other half and I consider ourselves the ultimate carnivores and we are always on the lookout for a good BBQ place and short of heading over to Texas, we are usually left a little underwhelmed. This certainly was not the case when we went to Dig In The Ribs. We both left feeling completely stuffed and very very satisfied. The restaurant itself is rustic and looks likes an authentic BBQ joint and the smell of incredible sticky, smoky pork hits you as you walk in. The staff were friendly and fun and made us feel like we were already regular customers (and we will be!). They started us off with 2-4-1 cocktails which arrived almost instantly and we were very impressed. After my other half took forever to decide what to have from the extensive and all tempting menu we ordered Quesadillas and Peel 'N' Eat Shrimp. Both of which were fantastic and the shrimp was beautifully fresh and tasty. I ordered a full rack of Digs Dirty Ribs and they were so unbelievably tender and practically fell off the bone, I cleaned the lot and drank the sauce (I am not ashamed). My husband ordered the 14 oz T Bone Steak, mostly because he couldn't believe how reasonable the price was (£17.95) and as he always does; he ordered the steak blue. Most places overcook his steak no matter how much he insists he wants it practically raw, but Dig In The Ribs brought it out "still moo'ing" exactly as he likes it and he was very happy with that, and to top it off he said it was one of the nicest steaks he has ever eaten, and he has eaten quite a few! I can honestly say this was one of the greatest date nights we have had together, the food was amazing to say the least, the service was excellent and the best surprise of all was the bill at the end was so reasonable we had to double check we had been charged full price. Highly recommend Dig In The RIbs to couples and families. If you like ribs, well you are in for a treat!

My children and I visited Dig In The Ribs while on vacation, and it was amazing! The staff was very courteous, the food was delicious (the ribs just melt in your mouth), and the atmosphere was nice and cozy. Even though fantastic drinks were served (my sister and I went back for some the next night) there was not a large, drunken crowd. There was also not a long wait, fantastic restaurant. I will visit again if I am over that way.

As an American of southern descent I take Bar BQQ very seriously and I am especially when I’m in the UK so when I headed to dig in the ribs in Bright on I was surprisingly blown away. The first thing I tried was the appetizer, the Loose Bones, which was something of a revelation and for a meat lover like myself, it went well with the Half Rack and that zesty BBQ sauce. Give this place a try.

I don't normally write reviews about restaurants, but after the meal I had here I thought I should. I visited Dig in the Ribs with my girlfriend this weekend. We just happened to come across it while we were in Brighton and thought we would give it a go. Well I am so glad we did! What a fantastic restaurant! The food was delicious! Me and my girlfriend both had the chicken Fajitas and they are without a doubt the best fajitas I have ever had! To top it off the service was incredible. We didn't have to wait too long for our food but at the same time didn't feel as though the meal was rushed. I would definitely be visiting here again the next time I'm in Brighton and I have already recommended it to some friends who may be visiting in the next few weeks. Such a great night! Thank you!

Love love love this place! I have never had better BBQ in my life. The sauce is perfect. The ribs are smoky and full of flavour, enjoyed ripping the meat off the bone. Black beans and red rice were good side. Go!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at "Dig in the Ribs" with a group of friends on a weekend break to Brighton. We hadn't booked and were quickly greeted by a friendly waitress who seated us straight away offering us menus and taking our drinks order. We didn't have to wait long for our food and wow, it was outstanding. My ribs were moist and just melted in the mouth with a BBQ sauce that was to die for. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the salads all crisp and obviously very fresh. This, all washed down with some perfectly created margaritas and a lovely, social atmosphere made for a fantastic evening. It was very reasonably priced for the quality of the food and efficient service and I can't wait to return on my next trip to Brighton. Highly recommended to all of my friends.
