I recently dined at Pizza Express, and it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant offered a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a casual night out with friends or family.
The highlight, of course, was the pizza. It was simply delicious, with a thin, crispy crust and a wonderful variety of toppings. The fresh ingredients and flavorful combinations made each bite a delight.

Our waiter Dean was totally brilliant & an asset to your team. Our order was taken promptly but not rushed, the food was perfect & didn't take long to arrive (starters & mains). Dean was attentive & collected our plates with perfect timing. Not rushed but not sat ages waiting. It was our daughter's 16th birthday & we had brought a cake. We hoped he would kindly bring it to her with candles but he went above & beyond. Putting the cake on a slate & added decor sauces, strawberries & mint. We were delighted & touched by his actions. A small gesture which meant so much to Molly. Thank you Dean! We left a tip for him with our payment to thank him.
We were served by Joshua, his first day as a waiter, he was polite, attentive and efficient! He gave the kids colouring pens and menus and dealt with our queries and alterations to the menu (we had a few) really well! Disappointing that there was no vegan cheese, this shouldn’t really happen in a pizza restaurant. Josh did his best to offer alternatives. The kids meals are great value, £7.25 for 3 courses, and the pizzas are really tasty as always! The atmosphere down the marina is lovely and the weather was warm yesterday so we had a lovely stroll after dinner for a look at all the amazing boats.
I was pleasantly surprised by this particular branch of Pizza Express. I’m only saying this as looking at the reviews it doesn’t score very high, but we had a good experience eating here recently.
Had some tasty dough balls and calamari for starters, and everyone enjoyed their choice of pizza for mains. The still lemonade was good too and we got a good discount on our bill through Unidays.
The staff were friendly and nice.
It was very very busy for a Wednesday evening so definitely recommend booking a table.
Tried the garlic balls for the first time and they were yummy. I thought I'd try something I wouldn't normally get on a pizza, so I chose the goats cheese and caramelized onion with spinach one. It was nice and I would get it again. My dad got the BBQ burnt ends (brisket) one and enjoyed it but could've had more meat on it. I did find a lot of the options were spicy. All the Staff we interacted with were very nice
We were a group of parents and carers with our disabled young adults. The food was good and there was a nice atmosphere with live music. But what really stood out to us was the exceptional service from Patrick who was attentive, efficient and very helpful. We will return!
I visited Pizza Express last Friday at about 12pm last week.
It was really quiet and peaceful. Lovely views to the marina looking at the boats.
The food was very tasty and fresh. The staff were efficient and quick. It was very busy which was fine by us.

The Romana Pizzas were soooooooo tasty.. we can totally recommend the Hoisin Duck & BBQ Burnt Ends.
Overall... fabulous serve and fantastic food.. we would certainly return.
Came here for my girlfriends birthday the other day and we both had a fantastic time the staff was so friendly and catering to our needs and food was delicious 10/10 would come again
Nice restaurant with a super location in the Marina. Good food (like always at Pizza Express) with always a good service to reasonable prices. The is a reason why we often choose Pizza Express.
