Pho Tj

I ordered a soup bowl with the two beef combo and added shrimp and extra rice. I also had a couple of appetizers of dumplings and spring rolls. I was really pleased that my order was ready so fast: 15 minutes! The dining room was very clean and cozy. The staff are very kind. But the reason for the lower than 5 star rating is that my broth wasn't hot enough, evidenced by my meat not doing the finished cook in it; it remained the same as when I took it out of the container. Even with that, I would still come back because the food is delicious.

We’ve been coming here for taro boba for years and have loved them and considered them the best in town, even after a boba shop opened nearby. However the last two times we’ve gotten them, they’ve been very weak flavored as if they’re only using half the flavoring mix. Even the color is a very light purple rather than a darker purple. We hope this will improve, but if not we’ll choose to go somewhere else.

Under new management... soup is fine, service was fairly quick, but ordered dumplings and didn't get them-- we would have asked but at no time during the entire meal, despite there being only a few tables (130pm on a Saturday) no waitstaff ever checked to see if we liked our meals, offer to refill our water, only to bring the check. Still ironing out some issues, it seems.

Pho restaurants can be a gamble at times. Every time I try a new one, I have to cross my fingers and hope that it's one of the good ones. I'm happy to say that Pho TJ is one of those good ones. All around excellent food and good service. Sure it takes a little time to get the orders together, but that might just be my perception because I'm so eager to get to my food. Boba's good, too!

Put a pickup order in at 5:55PM. Two bowls of Pho, nothing crazy. Got there and they said they’re behind (no problem, I can wait) - they proceeded to make me wait 1.5 hours without ANY update. I finally had to ask for my money back as they still after 1.5 hours couldn’t get me my food or give me a good estimate. They wasted my time and I will never be giving them my business again. Kind of sad because the food as always been amazing - but a business that can’t respect their customers time shouldn’t be in business.

My husband and I ordered from here 05/31/22. We’ve eaten here before with no problems so I assumed everything would be fine. About an hour after eating my bowl of Pho, I started to get an upset stomach. It lasted all throughout the night in to 06/01/22 with nausea and vomiting. I had to go to the hospital to get fluids and anti nausea medicine as I am extremely sick. The doctor did confirm it was in fact get food poisoning. I pray to God this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I know that things happen, but any restaurant’s food should never make anyone sick.

Ownership appears to have changed in the last couple of months, food quality has suffered dramatically. I used to go here 3+ times a week, and after 2 poor experiences in a row, I'm done. It was worth the price before, now... I don't think I would eat there even if the price was 75% lower than it is now.
