Wolfox Avenue

We stayed in Kemptown, Brighton for a long weekend and were lucky enough to stumble across The Avenue on our second day. Beautiful bohemian setting, lovely staff and a fantastic menu. I had an open sandwich which was THE best sandwich I have ever had. We loved it so much we came back 2 days later to enjoy it all over again. A new favourite place and we wish them every success.

We came at 2:30 on a weekday and sat with our laptops for a few hours, the place wasn’t full and there were outlets and good wifi so it was a comfortable environment. They have a 1 hr laptop policy during peak hours of 9-3pm. You may not need to move if the tables aren’t full but good to keep in mind.

Great Coffee shop, great staff and a lovely vibe ... Genuinely don't understand some of the negative reviews here. I've been a fairly frequent regular and the friendliness of everyone there is what keeps me coming back. Nothing like service with a genuinely warm smile. It was very busy today, tbf, but even then the staff couldn't do enough to make sure I was ok and catered for.

Great selection of drinks and different milkshakes and coffee, the biscoff coffee was amazing. food was amazing, great quality and very quick service, the waitress was very friendly and attentive, however we visited on two occasions and both visits the cafe was very busy. There was only one server who was also doing all the washing up, clearing and wiping of tables, serving, drink making and well everything except for cooking, she was doing her absolute best, but this meant that there was quite a wait to order and receive drinks, an extra pair of hands would have greatly improved the service and I’m sure also the servers experience too who was rushed off her feet, this also caused a few people to leave the cafe as they could not wait.
