Wow this place does amazing food, we stopped for lunch of falafel and baba ganoush wraps. There was so much in the wraps and they tasted delicious. We ate downstairs but should have gone upstairs as decor is beautiful with a glass atrium at the back.

Lavash is a Middle Eastern restaurant located in the heart of Brighton. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with traditional Middle Eastern decor. It doesn’t look like much from outside, but the interior decor is beautiful. Although a bit pricey, the flavors are truly authentic. I recently visited Lavash with my partner for lunch. We shared the mixed kebab platter. It comes with grilled chicken, lamb çöp shish and handmade spicy lamb mince kebab (Adana kebab) served with bulgur pilaf, red cabbage, raw onion, salad, chilli & yogurt sauce. We ordered the veggie mixed platter as well but they forgot about it which is why they lose a point on service. We also tried the baklava for dessert, which was a nice sweet treat to end the meal. The baklava was tasty but tasted like it was a little old and had a bit too much syrup for my liking. For drinks, we ordered pomegranate juice, Turkish coffee and şalgam (turnip juice). The pomegranate juice was delicious. The Turkish coffee was well balanced and served with a Turkish delight. Not too bitter. Overall, we had a great experience at Lavash. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting. It was a shame we didn’t get to try the veggie mixed platter, I’m sure it’s yummy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a authentic Middle Eastern dining experience in Brighton. If you order a main per person and a few starters to share, you’re probably looking at paying £20-£30 per head. They also do 10% off for students.

Absolutely delicious food ! Walk in for lunch and we definitely going to be back for more! The only tiny issues was the service -main,before starters and no cutlery. But for sure its something they can work on :) Overall it was great experience and definitely will recommend Lavash to friends!

The weather drove us in here rather than our usual falafel place - absolutely no regrets. The vegetarian platter was delicious (but only two falafel 🥺) while the lamb skewer platter was fabulous. All tasted fresh and was very well spiced, with friendly service and very accommodating staff. Will definitely return. Priced very reasonably too!

Amazing food and a very pretty restaurant. It doesn't look like much from the outside and it was a bit quiet in there, but the food was outstanding! And so reasonable. I'd highly recommend a visit. And get the halloumi! It's unreal.

Walked in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Was immediately hit by the amazing smell and the wonderful music. Combined with the decor, the atmosphere of this place is amazing! Ordered my food, sat upstairs, waited maybe 10 minutes before my shish arrived. The chicken was perfectly cooked, with an outstanding flavour, and when combined with the bulgar, greens and crunchy onion, created a dance of flavour in my mouth. The portion size was perfectly satisfying, and the service was quick, polite and clean. Authentic, affordable food and a cozy atmosphere. 10/10.
