We thought the service and particularly the communication on wait times etc was brilliant. Staff were pleasant and the table across from us spilled sauce on a coat and they were kind and took the initiative to wash the excess sauce off immediately. Food was lovely and came quickly. We had a lovely evening

Excellent venue, great table for the 7 of us, lovely food, solicitous staff. We were there for 3 hours - hadn't anticipated being that long. Perhaps the Service could have been a little quicker. But. we all had a wonderful time in celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary. Thank you, everyone. We will certainly be back another time.

My husband and myself visited yesterday. Atmosphere and service was faultless again, we don't get out often but feels like a real treat when we do. Always go for the set menu as fabulous value for money. My cookie was missed off my desert but didnt make a fuss or bring to their attention as ice cream alone was more than satisfactory. Food was devine. Already looking forward to our return in the future 😀

Ok I do like my steak so this was my first visit to Miller and Carter. Quite busy for a Sunday afternoon but plenty of parking spaces. Very welcoming staff and a nice interior. We opted for the Sunday set menu at £29.95 each, however I was not to impressed by the supplement charges on some dishes. The starter the beef brisket was nice, the main the 50 day aged ribeye was nice too, cooked to perfection and tasty. Far too much lettuce served with the steak, I would have preferred some rocket leaf salad. Ok so two starters, two steaks, 2 deserts and 3 soft drinks for lunch @ £84.00. Nice but not value for money for a lunch.

1st time that we've managed to get a free table as it's so popular at the weekend, but this Friday lunchtime we got lucky! Great service, super clean and efficient, the lunchtime special...delicious and filling. I did notice how smartly turned out the staff were and how sparkling the glasses on the tables were too. 10/10...we will be returning

This was an absolutely fantastic meal out. All of the food was really fantastic and the service was incredible. We had some allergies on our table and they were so helpful in guiding us to what fit those allergies. The steak looked so good I completely forgot to take a picture. We got the sharing tasting platter which is a great option if you aren't sure what type of steak you like. It was incredible. Some of the best steak I've had. It isn't cheap but in my opinion you get what you pay for.
