Never been there but as a chef I know how important the business is for the owners and the people that work there . Due to the fake 1* reviews from the vegans/vegetarians I have decided to rate with 5* the Bridge inn as I find unfair the way that those people trying to show their preferences.
Awesome place amazing staff and gutsy owners the chefs obviously care a great deal about producing hi quality products like fois gras and delivering it so the customer enjoys a great dining experience kudos to the bridge inn don't change stay strong don't let these food nazis win
Stopped in for drinks after a walk up to Calver Weir with the dogs.
Lovely dog friendly pub with friendly and helpful staff. Pint of Estrella and a pint of Level Head IPA was £10.20, reasonable price for a such a lovely area with lots of walks. Will be back to try the food one day.
Lovely staff , relaxing atmosphere. We went and had Lovely food with a drink after our walk , we sat in the garden it was so nice.
Bit expensive for home brew but great atmosphere. Mobile food outside expensive
£9,50 for a burger £3.50 for chips but all in all worth the visit
Excellent in a word. We've walked around Calver many times going to the Weir but never actually popped in this pub. I'm glad we did, the food was excellent, the Sunday roast was very nice. Friendly staff and plenty of space indoors and outside depending what you'd like. We'll definitely go back 👍
After a long walk around Mam Tor, we called in this pub on the way back.
Very nice venue, which I would certainly return to. The staff were friendly, professional and polite. Chilled relaxed atmosphere and the seating area outside is perfect! We ate outside because the tables aren't too close and I didn't feel crowded like a 'normal' beer garden.
I was so hungry I didn't even take a photo of the food but believe me, it was LUSH!!!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Excellent food- really tasty home made fish cakes and chicken flat bread dishes, obviously made by a chef that really cares about their food and flavours. Pleasant beer garden and play area. Good value.
Visited for lunch to celebrate our 19 year wedding anniversary after a nice walk on Curbar edge. Polite and friendly staff, excellent food, great service, dog friendly, reasonable prices. Top marks!
An excellent bar. Varied tapas menu expertly cooked and served as & when ready to enable you to eat the previous courses. Varied drinks menu including gins, prosecco, larger etc. Reasonably priced food in a lovely location. The staff are excellent too. All young, polite & well trained in customer service. A credit to the bar & their parents. A special mention to Emily who knew her stuff, was efficient & entertaining. Thank you all. We will return
Spent a couple of hours at The Bridge Inn tonight and it was brilliant. The food was excellent, the service was efficient and friendly, and there were just so many areas to choose to sit!
I chose the area by the kitchen and was mesmerised by the quiet and orderly efficiency as the two chefs worked like a well-oiled machine turning out plate after plate of delicious-looking food.
Well done The Bridge Inn, you so deserve top marks. Thank you.
Quiet family meal, peaceful, certainly not currently too busy. Had trouble getting accurate info on openings / bookings, best response came via messenger as phone line was not connecting other than voicemail.
Organisation and food was good, with lovely attention from staff team. Unfortunately no tapas currently on offer which is a shame but perhaps understandable in the context of sharing dishes. Wishing you the best for a busy and active summer 👍
