This is my local pub in England. It is a nice place, with a fireplace that is often lit in the cold months. Slightly rustic, with bare wood tabletops. Generally good ambiance, and live music by local and visiting bands in the weekends. The short menu is Italian/British, with authentic enough stone-baked pizzas and a good calzone.
Absolutely delicious. I've been coming for years and the pizza is ALWAYS the highlight of the day. It's delicious and very quickly served, pizzas are about £14 each and are well worth the value of portions size! …
Huck a back was one of the best beers I tried. And good gluten beer options
It's your basic local pub - but independent (a plus) and with a GREAT rotating selection of beers and cask ales. Good pizzas too (and my bar is set very high). We sat in the outdoor area behind the building which was very nice.
