Whole Foods Market

The best cake I’ve ever had. I’m an avid baker and have tried most bakeries in Cambridge, MA and couldn’t find one that had the rich buttercream frosting and fluffy vanilla cake that I found at the Whole Foods bakery at this location. Shawn (bakery manager) was so helpful and let me try a cupcake with my desired customizations before I ordered the whole cake. He offered such great customer service and made sure my cake was everything I wanted and more. Such an incredible quality bakery for a very affordable price. Thanks again!

Nice little market. Prices are absurd. $27 for a 32oz. Bag of chia seeds is criminal! I bought the SAME bag elsewhere for $10. Same with other items - prices are very high. You can get the same exact product elsewhere for much less. Maybe it's to be expected (?) though. Their customers are the typical entitled, gentrifier crowd.. walking thru the store with NO courtesy, like they own the world. I've seen them disrespectful toward staff many times. No wonder some staff seem frustrated. But I will say a handful of the staff are nice. Decent salad/hot bar.. it could be better. Prices on small plants are reasonable.

Nice friendly neighborhood Whole Foods Market. Vegetable section looks nice and pretty well organized. Daily bakery wasn’t but I visited the store at the end of the day so that could be why I can’t find anything from daily products. Mostly everything looks clean. They were in cleaning process before closing so I hope they will clean this.

Well, I am an expert on Whole Foods and the best ones I have been to are in Northern Virginia. My fave one had 5 restaurants, a wine tasting room, musical guests, and was just phenomenal. So Boston kinda doesn't deliver but it's OK. Harrison Ave. Is ok, the one near mgh has the best hot food, the one near alewife is the biggest and has the most prepared meals.imho. but still not up to par with other ones in equally expensive areas. Really, get it together Boston.

I love this compact city store of Whole Foods. You can find lots of the standard items from larger Whole Foods, a short walk from the Central Square redline T-stop. They also have a bike rack and a small parking lot if you are arriving on wheels. They have a nice range of cheeses, which are cut and packaged at the River Street store about a mile away. You can figure out what’s on the shelf in advance by going into the Amazon app tapping on groceries Whole Foods and specifying pick up at this store location

Whole Foods is a little outside of my price range, but I went, and found a few things that cost less than Star Market, and found a couple items I couldn't find elsewhere. Clean, well kept store (no surprise), and courteous helpful staff who helped me locate items. Even the fellow shoppers were polite. Mask protocol was as close to 100% as I've seen anywhere else in town. So, overall good experience.
