Midwest Grill - Cambridge

My friend and I stopped by, and we had a lovely time. The food was delicious, and our waiter was funny, helpful, and had great energy. It’s still kind of a mix in decor with the old place, a bit quirky (in a good way 👍) but I don’t mind and got a kick out of it, like the big cow and cowboy paintings. Great time!

NEWLY REOPENED as a Korean/Japanese/Chinese restaurant owned by a lovely couple. Incredibly friendly service, generous portions, and warm comforting dishes. Very affordable prices compared to Korean restaurants in the Allston/Brighton area, but definitely stands out as a one of a kind in Inman Square!

I just ordered jjajangmyun, and it was the worst jjajangmyun I've ever had. I even wasted most of them because they tasted like whole different food, which doesn't even taste like food. I'm from South Korea; I know how it tastes like because I ate like 500 dishes of jjajangmyun for my whole life, but this is NOT jjajangmyun(not even close.) The chief might not know this food, I guess. Do NOT order from this restaurant.

Ordered the rodizio. Meat portions are generous and the buffet is really great. Among the selections are the best greens I've ever had in a restaurant. The atmosphere feels more formal than I'm used to but I also felt really comfortable. Staff is pleasant and I couldn't have been happier with the service. I plan to visit again when I'm in the area. One of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time.

Traditional Brazilian grill. $24.99 for all you can eat. Buffet considered of meatballs, beans, French fries, fried fish, 2 types of rice, summer type of chicken salad that was very good, and "salad" ingredients made up of iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, and sliced carrots. Meats: sausage, chicken wrapped in bacon, lamb, and steak. All of these were pretty great. Overall the food was pretty good, would have been nice to have some additional salad options - not just iceberg. Had to ask for a second helping of meat - we were 2 of about 12 people there for dinner. $25 seemed a bit steep for the quality and selection of food, $20 would have been acceptable. Go through grub hub and get the same meat items for $20.

This place is best of the best! I've been to many Brazilian Buffets and steak houses but Midwest tops them all! If you go, you have to do Rodizio. They have many different choices of meats and all taste amazing. If you go for anything else go for the hospitality. The owner is one of the nicest and wholesome down to earth people I have ever met. He's in there working hard and catering to you and never complains. He moves fast and doesn't slip up and will always see you out if he's not too busy. He makes you feel like family and the staff are amazing all the same. Seriously I couldn't think of a better place to go to!

The worst place ever. The service was subpar and they seemed bothered to be called. we went and it was dead so it seemed logical that it would be easy to get their attention. No the case and at the end when the bill came, they obligated a 12 dollar tip when the waitress never came over past the initial seating. The man with the meat was bothered I turned down chicken that was overcooked and meat still mooing. Overall not a great experience and will never go back

I told my friends about this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The dishes they serve are tasty and the stuff is attentive and cooperative. Every time we go to this place we enjoy a gorgeous evening. I warmly recommend this restaurant.
