Greek + Shawarma Stop

Under new ownership from June 2 2019. Tasty food and very large portions. Friendly service and prices reasonable for what you get. A great option for home ordering too they are on skip the dishes. They have daily specials as well for lunch or dinner. Ambiance is basic but clean and spacious. Worth a visit and takeout as well. I just wish for eat in they had regular plates and cutlery instead of styrofoam. Seems like such a waste to use plastic and styrofoam and it also cheapens the feel of the meal when you dine in.

Delicious chicken souvlaki, freshly grilled as I asked for it. No matter you go there any time they will make your food fresh, They keep their rice and roasted potatoes in special warmers and it taste fresh. A littile update on my review since I visit this place after a while their portion size is now bigger than what I used to get here so that is an impressive improvement. Now I want to go to Alpha Greek almost 3 times in aweek. why go any where else while I get full value for what I pay.

Awesome experience. We just moved here in July and every place we have eaten in Cambridge so far is just awful. After a busy day and an email from skip the dishes,,, we ordered.. iw as expecting it to be garbage...HOWEVER, it was awesome. Even my kids who hate food really enjoyed their meals. I cannot say enough about this place. Its our go too now.. Thanks for a great meal!

UNIQUE! My first time going here ever since It was built. It's located in a pretty busy plaza and feels like a joyful ambience, but due to COVID-19 there are no customers or staff members in sight. The restaurant looked as if they were lots of room for customers and was spacious. The hygiene of the place was okay with footprints coming up to the food bar. The staff were friendly when they arrived and greeted us very kindly! They had lots of options and would be ideal for Pescatarians or Vegans as the menu had lots of variety. When I got my souvlaki meal it did look fresh and was very different. I had never tasted anything like it in my life and the sauces left me feeling uncertain in a good way! I wanted to taste more and it was portioned well, vegetables looked about fresh and was priced alright. Which differentiates them from competition like Jimmy the Greek. The staff member did a good job filling up the plate but please be sure to really include items in the plate like advertised but it was worth it and I enjoyed the meal. Definitely would return to retry other items on the Menu!
