So good!! Had a couple of starters and a dessert and it was a struggle to choose what to have as the options all look really tasty. Food tastes amazing and the price is fair, staff were great. Already planning a trip back

Mezza Luna is located amidst a multitude of different restaurants but is one of the few that serves alcoholic drinks.
There are no parking spaces around the restaurant so you would need to try and find somewhere to park as near as possible.
The restaurant has a warm, friendly atmosphere which has helped by the very helpful and efficient staff.
We started with the harissa hummus which came with lovely flat breads and the harissa gave a nice kick to the hummus.
For our main course we chose to share the gourmet mix grill which had a great mixture of chicken and lamb kebabs, chicken wings, lamb chops, rice, fries and salad. All of the meat was tasty and tender and there was certainly more than enough for the 2 of us and we were glad that we only had a starter of hummus.
The house red wine was an excellent Italian wine from Sicily and went very well with the food.
We really enjoyed the meal and the wine and will definitely return the next time we're in Cardiff.

Went here on Saturday 2nd May 2018. we were 6 in a party. The staff were amazing. The welcome was clear.. "No rush Take all the time you like" was the first thing said to us. The food was fantastic. Well presented and very tasty. Then came the belly dancer.. interactive with the guests and knew how to have a bit of fun with a cheeky one (that was me). The guests are all encouraged to join in with the dancing too. One little let down for me was, the owners, who were also the waiting staff stopped being attentive to our table as soon. as their family and friends arrived. We were left to wait before we could order any further drinks or desserts. Having said that, on leaving after a very good time at the restaurant the staff seen us off with a wave. Thank you all...

May be my new favourite restaurant in Cardiff. We initially decided to go since it was 2 for 1 with Meerkat meals but I would have happily paid full price for such delicious food. There's an excellent selection for vegetarians and meat eaters and they also serve a range of alcoholic beverages. The staff were friendly and the place was clean and well decorated. Looking forward to going again!

Visited this place yesterday for a family members graduation meal for 10 people. Good service all round Ordered a small chicken and was pleasantly suprised with the potion size and reasonably priced too. Bit of a confusion when it came to the "tip" on the bill but was advised it was optional. I would definitely got back again.

Really good food with attentive staff. Everything is cooked fresh in the huge oven which is visible in the restaurant which made the whole place smell awesome. Will definitely come back again

A midweek meal to celebrate a friend's birthday started with cocktails at Milgi and ended with a kebab... Mezza Luna, located on City Road, bills itself as a Lebanese and Moroccan restaurant. This equates to a menu filled with appetising sounding tagines and couscous, alongside the expected kebab shop classics. I quaffed a bottle of excellent Casablanca lager (£3.80) whilst picking from the set menu (2 courses for £9.95, Sunday-Thursday). To start, we shared a portion of smooth and well seasoned hummus and disappointing falafel which were neither moist nor particularly flavoursome. Starters were accompanied by a bowl of lukewarm and slightly dry flatbreads. For main, Mrs G ordered Chicken Couscous. Whilst the huge, rustic-looking plate of food looked the part, it was let down by flabby chicken, soggy couscous and a one dimensionally sweet sauce. I ordered the Shish Taok - Meat – A generous quantity of well marinated chicken. Sadly, a couple of minutes spent too long on the grill mean
