An amazing find. Managed 2 nights running, with lunch in between, so that's a comment on its own. Great food, good beer, fantastic value for money. Curry night tonight and it was yum yum. I think we'll definitely visit again on our next trip to Cardiff. And Kathy Burke says it's a great pub too.
Went today with family for a birthday meal all the food was of a very high standard been a few times now never disappoint
Our first visit here. My sister and I arrived 15 minutes before kitchen closure so to be honest we were not expecting much. We ordered two curries half and half and WOW! ... I couldn't believe my eyes when they arrived at the table.
They looked beautifully presented on the plate and tasted as good as they looked. Friendly staff and dog friendly. I have a well behaved little yorkie cross but it can be hard to enjoy going places with her as dog friendly can be difficult to find. We will definitely be back to try the Sunday roast.
Nice pub. Went for the Sunday roast. Service was good, portion size good, meat, veg and meal in general was good. But I think the potatoes were frozen, they'd ran out of a few things and the wait was an hour.
Six of us were there today and all food was excellent. Rump steaks, liver, scampi and fish dishes were cooked to perfection and ample portions. Will be returning.

I cannot praise this place enough. Clean, staff are great and the food is second to none and so reasonably priced. It is a gem and definitely worth visiting. We want to go back to the area just to go back here
I hadn't been here for many a year, but my daughter took me for a treat. Great food! There was a really nice atmosphere. It was busy, so servers didn't get to us as quickly as they might have but it really wasn't an issue. Lovely child friendly beer garden too. The pub is obviously loved by the locals.

Good burger made great by pulled pork. All burgers need guerkin which was sadly missing. 10/10 guinness
