Lovely business, some of the friendliest staff I've ever met! Food is rich and full of flavour, especially the petit plats, and very good value. Atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, spacious layout. One of those little Cardiff gems. Would go again and again!!

We've just enjoyed a fabulous meal at Amesoeur. This was our first visit but we're looking forward to the next, when we'll take friends. We visited today and chose from the petit plate selection, which were similar to generous tapas-like dishes, only nicer. There is also a brunch menu. There was a range of about 17-20 petit plate dishes to chose from including a balance of meat, fish, cheese and vegetarian options. All of our choices were excellent, freshly prepared and looked beautiful, especially the deep fried goats cheese, halloumi with sweet potato and honey, Moroccan meatballs and blue cheese bruschetta. We're good eaters and found 5 dishes were more than enough for two people. We wish we'd taken photographs but dived in before we thought about it!! The dishes were in generously filled tapas-style bowls, served on a rustic wooden platter. The owner, Donna was attentive, friendly and helpful. The surroundings were very pleasant and nicely decorated. This was a great find. Thank you for a very pleasant experience. Mike and Bev x

Delicious food for a good price and excellent decor, but had to wait a *little* longer for food than wanted.

A new independent cafe bar and a really cool chill out to go place with friends. The food is hearty and well cooked. Great service every time. This place deserves to do well.
