I want to love this place and give it 5 stars, but I can't. The atmosphere is top notch, beautifully decorated in a contemporary style, the bar has chairs which is part of the reason we go. Our first visit was on our first day in Cardiff, the bartender, Flo, was friendly and attentive, made delicious drinks and offered suggestions on the menu. Unfortunately, her shift ended and the service took a nose dive from there, we've been back on 3 other occasions and the same can be said. The restaurant has the look of a high end establishment, however the service is not up to that standard. We will definitely keep giving Browns another chance as I don't think it has been open long, and as I said, we want to love this place
Cute restaurant and bar located in the Cardiff Marriott hotel. The atmosphere is modern yet antique looking which is nice, the breakfast buffet is located here for the hotel. You can order menu items for breakfast lunch and dinner, they also have a nice bar with lots of terrace seating. The terrace and bar get quite busy in the afternoons. We ordered breakfast items which here on the pricey side considering the amount of food we all got (3 small pancakes doesn't fill up an eight year old boy). The yogurt parfair was really good though, highly recommend! Service was a little slow and inattentive considering how empty the place was. Not a bad place for a bite though.
The staff here were so attentive. I have a daughter with allergies and the staff were super helpful in providing allergy information as well as ensuring that the food came out great!

Emily was fantastic! What a lovely courteous waitress! Knew her stuff was personable, attentive and very welcoming! A credit to Browns. Food was wine was delicious, but Emily would be the reason to come back!

Amazing meal at Browns. We were served by Chelsea and Han who were incredibly friendly and provided excellent service. The food was really good. We had the steak and the lamb which were cooked really well and tasted great. Chelsea and Han made our experience really enjoyable and because of them we will be back :)
Was a lovely looking venue with beautiful furnishings. However, when we arrived and said we just wanted drinks, no one said whether to order at the bar or whether we get table service. So were left wondering. We went to bar and they delivered to table, not sure whether they normally deliver the drinks, but it was virtually empty.
We held a baby shower here for my sister in law and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice of venue! Tom, Chelsea and the team were so attentive and made the experience run so smoothly from start to finish. Food wise we chose the buffet option and it was incredible! Thanks so much to all of the staff for making the day so perfect.

We’ve experienced so many brunches in Cardiff, this is by far the best! Best food, service and value! Leila F was an amazing waitress, very attentive, friendly and a great memory! Thank you Browns, we will be back
