Slug & Lettuce Cardiff Central

Had a bottomless brunch yesterday to celebrate the end of university. Our server Carys went above and beyond, constantly asking us if we were okay and if we needed more drinks. She made our experience amazing, especially with a member of our party running late. I can honestly say our glasses were never empty, she’s a credit to the team and we plan to have another bottomless brunch within the near future.

Overall an excellent experience, our server Ella-Louise was outstanding, the food was delicious, hot and quickly served along with drinks at bottomless brunch. The only negative was of no fault of any staff members of the Slug and Lettuce but of staff members from another establishment who seem it's ok to come in and out of the building, leaving the door open so everyone was freezing and when these two males were challenged, the one was just rolling his eyes constantly because we kept having to get up and close the door, then the other commented that he was only going to be 5 minutes as if it was no big deal and clearly didn't understand that when the tables nearest the doors were dining, we were freezing with the door constantly open. I have to mention that if it wasn't for Ella-Louise actually bringing to our attention that it wasn't staff members of the establishment, I would have made a complaint against the Slug and Lettuce as it did disrupt and tarnish our dining experience.

We went to Slug and Lettuce for my hen do and booked the cocktail masterclass. We had a fantastic time, Theo who was running the cocktail making was great, we had a great laugh whilst making different cocktails. The general manager was checking in, making sure everything was okay and asking for song requests that we wanted! Great service, drinks and atmosphere!
