It was a total pleasure to join the Welsh guards veterans on there remembrance to the Galahad event they made me welcome and part of the family friends for life respect to the veterans they don't get enough credit and they are a jolly bunch of young lads in a grown man's body thank you for your service each and everyone and the fallen we toasted you boys to
I enjoyed my experience at Weatherspoon. It's what I expected. Puts other restaurants away with their curry Thursday meals. Tops
I'll come back for dinner and also the next time I'm here in Cardiff. Way to go guys. Top notch👌😊😎👍
Been here a few times for drinks but never for food, big spacious area with seating both on the ground floor and upstairs.
Enjoyed the couple of times I've been here, although when very busy it can take a bit of time to be served but you get that anywhere that's busy, luckily I've not had that issue here too much.
Opposite the stadium as well so makes a great place for pre-drinks if attending a match etc.
A decent Wetherspoon this one! Great staff, friendly and efficient service. Usual ‘spoons fare, great food and drink at great prices. The pub is always clean and tidy. Prefer this one over the more central Cardiff spoons, which are much busier. Lots of seating areas set over three levels and two large bars, one on the ground floor and another on the second floor. Huge range on beers and ales on draught. Great range. Recommended
This was a great pub to go for a drink at, with a vibrant design contributed by the likes of the stairs and bar! The Welsh flag is a top addition, the staff were friendly and menus are available at tables. I sat comfortably for a refreshing drink of Black Grape Vodka, although it had not been mixed properly as I could taste vodka too strong at the bottom.
The best one, as usual. Great food, fair prices and enormous beer brands. Regrading food, hamburger and potatoes are served with absolutely no salt and pepper. Thus, you can make it/prepare/adapt by your own after served with catchup, pepper, etc. Everywhere I go, this is the place I look for having lunch, and dinner.
We had ham & cheese pannini
Which was very nice, not on your list of meals, I had a pint of Abbot Ale my partner had a glass of wine.
We have not been in there for a while due to the Covid Virus, we had a lovely time
Nice place with good combinations for lunch or a quick meal. Very big pub, with 3 floors and a lot of tables. Menus and tables are not the cleanest, as everything is sticky with dried beer. It could be cleaned more often.
A better than most spoons, nothing fancy, a couple of guest ales, that are tip top, split level pub, worst a visit.
I loved this place when I went on holiday to Cardiff I will be going back again.
