Pretty decent food. Perfect for a quick bite. I had the tenders meal which comes with garlic bread, French fries, a drink, and a sauce of your choice.
So clean in there! The guy clearing the tables was lovely. I'm super fussy with food & everything was lovely.
Clean and cosy place to eat, when busy can be a bit nosey but during quieter times you can relax a bit.
Staff are friendly and as my first time going helped me decide on a meal. Went with a 5 and 5 mix of wings and dippers. The BBQ honey sauce was amazing, the chicken was cripsy and delicious cooked well.
Fries were nice and fresh and the Texas toast was a nice little palette cleaners.
All on all a very nice place to grab a bite or go with some friends.
The manager was helping me leave feedback for another store who gave me a really bad service whilst my food was being prepared. To say sorry for this other stores mistake, he very kindly gave me a free Milkshake which made my day. I have been to this store a few times now and they always deliver. Couldn't be happier with the food
I visited Slim Chicken for the first time in Cardiff. If you are bored of KFC and Nando's, you can try Slim Chicken. Non-veg here is halaal.
They have dine-in and takeaway options as well. They have self-ordering machines.
They have Tender chicken, Sandwiches, Wings, Salads & Wraps, Sides, and Shakes. Meals are served with Texas toast, seasoned fries, house sauces & a bottomless soda.
Prices are reasonable considering the quantity. During weekends, it is crowded however, you can get a seat easily. You can visit here with family, friends, and kids as well.
We ordered a Slim meal and all the items in it were scrumptious. Garlic Cheese Sauce was amazingly tasty.
Good clean fried chicken! They use breast for their burgers and the seasoning is very good - a little on the salty side.
Their dips make more sense if you get the wings or strips, Korean bbq doesn’t really go with chips.
It would have been nice if you could get the chicken burger in one of their dip flavours.
All around a good place, I would recommend if you are looking for a fried chicken fix.
Had amazing service each time I’ve been here, particularly from Saif today. He’s to write a review to show my appreciation. Staff are always amazing and food is always delicious and hot!!
Chicken was super delicious and the service was quick. The staff were nice just the restaurant a bit packed ... but i think that's what prove it that it's a good restaurant isn't it. Will come again!
Bit of a wait but I think standard on a Saturday night with Deliveroo orders going out and presumably pre-pandemic staffing. Food had been sat on the side a little while as a result but staff friendly and food tasty nonetheless. One of the staff offered the baby a milkshake which is now her new obsession 😉 Thank you. 💖
Popped in for a bite to eat while shopping. The staff where fantastic and very helpful with us as newbie Slim Chickens eaters.
The food was lovely and the milkshake was out of this world..I highly recommend trying the salted caramel milkshake.
