the milk 32% hot chocolate is single-handedly the best hot chocolate i’ve ever had. it’s a good amount and a reasonable price aswell. the cookies and cakes are way too sweet in my opinion.

Very friendly staff.. good quality coffee and tea. Cake selection and chocolates absolutely delicious. Very large portions especially if you choose the cake. A wonderful place to go for a treat as well as just a quick coffee. Highly recommended to all cake and chocolate addicts.

Mrs Potts Chocolate shop in Cardiff is an absolute gem! I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a plate of their delectable brownies and ice cream, and it was truly a taste sensation. The brownie was rich, moist, and packed with the perfect amount of chocolatey goodness, while the ice cream was velvety smooth and complemented the dessert beautifully.

As others have mentioned there may be a wait for service due to busy times, this is understandable in a city centre location. I didn’t notice the wait for food as the cafe had such a relaxed vibe.
For those who have pets Mrs Potts chocolate house does allow well behaved dogs and they were kind enough to offer my dogs some water.
The food was amazing! The portions were generous and the chocolate is delicious. We will be back :-)

I've been coming here with my partner for a few weeks now every time we pop in town, and I must say this place is a must if you're walking past. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the hot chocolate and cakes are out of this world! As they're all home-made and made in the store, so they taste as fresh as can be. (extra note: They’re very vegan friendly with many options to chose and dog friendly if you ever walk past with your dog they offer free water for them and for yourselves)

Wow. If you like chocolate you'll LOVE this place. Looking for my "coffee and cake" fix recently, I thought Mrs Potts might be worth a try. I'll be back without a doubt...
The coffee is good, and the cake is extraordinary! The people are lovely too, which always makes things nicer, and their servings are nicely generous.
I chose to have a mocha (which is a bit indulgent considering the cakery on offer to go with it) and was thrown a bit - but in a good way - by the offer of choice of chocolate to add to the coffee. Brilliant! Such a nice change from the big chain offerings of syrup. I'll work my way through the selection in due course I'm sure.
The cake, as mentioned, is amazing, and the selection looks fabulous; cookies and other treats on offer too. I had the Chocolate Dream Cake... put simply: lush. Nice big slice too, which I'll admit was a little much for me at the time; probably not helped by my choice of drink. No problem there though; I asked for a box (Mrs Potts does take away) and with a smug little smile I carried my hunk of cake home for a late evening treat.
Seating is plain but comfortable and suited to the venue, and although not used during my visit there are customer toilet facilities available.
You may have got the gist already but just to clarify... This place comes highly recommended!
