I noticed this little Cafe last time I was in Carlisle but it was closed. Intrigued, I stopped by today when I was in town and I completely understand why it has won awards. I had the shrimp chowder and my husband had the jambalaya. Both were delicious and we took the offered hot dinner roll for a dollar which was perfect to dip in the soup while eating. Great food, good service, it's a nice little joint and I highly recommend it.

One of the greatest chicken salads I have ever had!! Very cute interiors, cozy seating, and really one of the most spectacular sandwiches I have ever consumed.

Lovin' spoonfuls...that must be why it's called Spoons. Offering excellent stuffed sandwiches, tasty soups (and you can even get a flight of soup...or they'll let you sample one before ordering it), and delicious salads. I got the Tomato Basil soup today and it was, by far, the best I've ever had. I got the half Cuban sandwich with my soup and was full before I could finish it. My wife ordered the Turkey Avocado Ranch sandwich with a side of Mac salad. We both loved what we ordered. The atmosphere is cozy and very homey, light and cheerful, and the helpful, friendly staff really makes you feel at home. Homemade goodness by the spoonful.

Got the soup flight (3 soups and a breadstick), and it was all so good! Soups are homemade and you can taste test them before deciding which one (or ones!) to get! Such a cute place too, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They also have sandwiches and salads that you can custom make if soup isn't your thing, but I didn't try those.

Can't say enough great things about this place I only wish we had one closer to home. Whoever came up with the soup flight idea is a fricking genius, only $6.50 for 3 different cups of soup and garlic breadsticks. We got the Campfire Chili, Fiesta Chicken & Cream of Crab and each of them was delicious but if I had to pick a favorite I'd say I liked the cream of crab best and hubby loved the chili most. The chicken fiesta is a new spin on the traditional chicken tortilla soup, the broth is creamy, not tomato based and every spoonful was filled with chunks of chicken, black beans and corn. Hubby and I also split a Thomas which is turkey on rye with sweet, creamy cole slaw and Russian dressing. The sandwich was stacked high with fresh, tender turkey and the homemade cole slaw was one of the best I have ever had. I'm obsessed with birch beer and this place has handcrafted sodas on their fountain - including white birch beer. This place was non-stop this afternoon for lunch and with the Ice Festival going on I'm sure they were even busier than usual but the staff are on point, awesome teamwork for sure. The way it works is you place your order at the counter then they give you a plastic mixing spoon with your number on it that you take to your table in one of their warm and inviting dining rooms (we scored a table in front of the fireplace) and wait for someone to bring your food out (our wait was about 5 minutes). While waiting to order the lady in front of me was asking about a particular soup and the young man waiting on her offered a sample and the man I believe was the owner told her that if she didn't like it she could bring it back and get something different, talk about going above and beyond. I can assure you that we will be back for lunch next time we visit the area and in the meantime I'm hoping to find a place closer to home that has a similar concept.

Second time getting the chicken pesto sandwich and it's SERIOUSLY delicious! The chicken is amazing. The mac and cheese is next level too. The staff is super helpful and very nice. My new fav lunch spot! If you live in Carlisle or are passing through, you gotta stop at Spoons! 🥄😁🥄

Nice place , friendly staff. Went twice and my sandwich was cold. The place wasn't busy so there is no excuse to bring out my grilled cheese cold on two occasions. Just grilled cheese, no soup. Should be in front of me less than 3 minutes off the grill if there were only 2 patrons in the restaurant.

Would not know how the food tastes. Tried the food truck by the PX and was turned away because I was there at 1028 and not 1030.
