The Rose & Crown is located in the heart of Carmarthen. It can get busy - particularly when Rugby is on. Food and staff are great

Really friendly staff ,clean and tidy right middle of carmarthen so handy for everything.
Reason for 4 ✨ is toast at breakfast, awful half cook on 2 side and not cooked underneath, sorry but love my toast but not today, apart from that good stay

Late Father's day lunch.
Fish, chips, and garden peas to die for, reminds me of the fish and chips I loved as a young lad in the welsh village I was born in after the war
ended in the late 40s.
Hand cut chip's, a big piece of cod with a thick beer batter coating, well worth the 2 days late fathers day lunch with my 2 daughters and granddaughter.
Definitely ☆☆☆☆☆ star.

We didn't stay, so I can't comment on the rooms. We just had Sunday lunch. It was delicious, excellent value and lots to eat. There were around four choices per course, and they were all executed to a high standard. Staff were lovely.
