Didn't stop in the hotel. Just called in for an evening meal and a beer. Ate in the bar which was lively for a Monday night. Food was nicely presented, wholesome and great value. Locals very friendly. The restaurant was much quieter if you prefer it. Staff very helpful.
Although it looks rough on first glance - the rooms were lovely and breakfast service great! ||Parking was a big plus and we were pleasantly surprised by this accommodation. ||Would recommend for 1 or 2 nights. It is a a 10 minute drive to Dundee but fine if you have a car.
