After a number of months of boycotting I was advised by a friend that he had a great meal so I gave them another chance. He was right! The chips were back to real chip shop chips. Not thin and dry. The cod was perfectly cooked like the old days. Would have given 5 stars if the chips portion size reverted to the original. Really not what I'd call a large portion at all (table spoon added for comparison).

Great food, friendly service.
The specials before 5.00pm are of great value.
Unfortunately of late I have noticed the portion sizes are much smaller now and served in these polystyrene boxes which can't be recycled unlike the paper which they used previously to wrap your fish/chips. In addition the food does not remain hot like it use too.

Had two large kebabs delivered with a side salad and chips and it was absolutely lovely! We've been going to this place for a number of years and it went through a period of everything being hardly worth eating. But we decided to give it one more try and so glad we did. They also package the food up well, and keep things separate. We ordered quite late, about 10.30pm, and all the food was freshly cooked. Will definitely use them again.
