What a great little place! Not sure about the reviews saying there was no atmosphere, the place was bouncing when we were there. It was so loud you could hardly talk, but it was all people chatting and having fun. Good menu, service is by a proper Italian so you can speak Italian if you wish, food was great with really well cooked seafood so no complaints at all. We had 3 courses plus limoncello, which we don't often do, so it gives you an idea how nice the food was. Would definitely recommend, and we've been to Primavera a few times, so food wise, this definitely ranks up there even if Primavera may seem decorated better inside. Go, experience and make up your own mind 🙂

First time coming here as a pre-wedding meal. As we was a medium sized group of 9 we paid a deposit of £10 each. The food took a little while to come but everything is cooked fresh and delivered with exuberance. 110% will come back again. I've been to many independent Italian restaurants across the country and this is one of the best.

What a lovely little hidden gem. Had a birthday meal here and the food and service were spot on. We arrived slightly earlier than our reservation but we were still seated straight away. Hot, tasty and good sized portions. We shared a couple of starters and the Whitebait was a standout, absolutely gorgeous. We will definitely be coming back again soon.

A cosy Italian restaurant with a really good range of interesting and delicious dishes. My gluten free requirements were met with a very strong assurance that I could have pretty well anything on the menu.
Staff were very knowledgeable and efficient, as well as welcoming and friendly.

Atmosphere felt appropriate for a nice meal, perhaps with family or a date, but did not really suit a solo dining experience.

Most diners seemed to have a reservation so I would recommend calling ahead.

Great food, lovely staff, would have been a lovely relaxing atmosphere, if it wasn't for the loud mouthed female customer who was clearly out on a Christmas party night. She insisted on making herself heard with her annoying laugh and booming voice which was clearly disturbing all the other customers in the restaurant and not just myself.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
