A bit more character than a usual waterstones. Great cafe as well

One of the cosiest Waterstones I have been to. Located in a very nice building. Pretty staircase down the middle of the store.
Plenty of book selection (obviously). Great variety of gifts, games, stationary and bits & bobs.
Cafe W has a balcony overlooking the Promenade. The chocolate and banana cake was so good, as were the hot drinks.
Scone was a little bit dry and crumbly (maybe because it was late in the afternoon?).

Waterstones is a great shop. They have a wide range of books for all ages and they have a good selection of novel gifts and cards as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

A big Waterstones with a café which unfortunately closed just as we got there but looked nice. The store is spread over several floors with a great selection of books.

This Waterstones effectively uses its historic building and space to get as much product in as possible. The staff are all friendly and well organised, and its one of my must see shops on the Promenade.
