Garden Kitchen Restaurant

Today myself and my friend took our 2 youngest boys to the carve a pumpkin event. We didn’t really have any expectations of what was on offer other than a pumpkin and tools to cut it with. We were really blown away by the set up, and the effort that webbs had gone to, in which to make this as themed as possible. The award for going above and beyond must go to Jo who not only dressed up but ensured that all children had what they needed to created their pumpkins Highly recommend

We went to webs garden centre for a drink and chat the customer service was great and the shop and cafe itself was presented nicely the only thing I would say is that the tea and coffee pots and cutlery were not that clean which again is understandable as they are busy. It’s just making sure that its thoroughly done. Other than that loads of parking spaces and a great selection of products in the shop and the staff were really nice. Thank you for a good afternoon

Excellent garden centre, Food court, was disappointing. Service from table, for someone with a walking disability unable to view what was available by sight, all you had was a rundown of cakes on offer. Courgette and lime cake was chosen, without seeing what it was like, when it came I was served a Ginger Cake, not amused. As the waiting staff were not in sight I went to the serving counter, that I had been served the wrong cake. This was swiftly changed. Perhaps on the little machines they use for logging orders the is a page added with the cake selection. As I am sure this changes daily/weekly. This not a complaint, just an observation.

Our local garden centre has much improved over the years, with a wide selection of plants, furniture, gifts and food for sale. The restaurant likewise improved during the pandemic, and is a smart and spacious place to eat. Staff very friendly and helpful. We usually enjoy our visits, though the coffee could be better.

Christmas has arrived. There are even places where you can take photos of your children. Great selection of decorations and gifts. As well as garden plants and products. The restaurant was busy so I didn't stop but the smells wafting towards me were lovely. Great for shopping or even window shopping 🙂
