The chicken laksa was great. Tasty, hot enough, and perfect texture. I would have liked a bit more veggies, but it was good as it was too.

Laksa King is a fantastic chain of restaurants that does some amazing Malaysian food, especially the chicken curry and beef rendang. Quality flavors and pricing is perfect..Not difficult difficult to love them This one's inside the Southland shopping mall and it very easy to locate. Just a fascinating fact about this place, sometimes they serve tables with their orders through a robot.

Ordered the chicken ribs and rice and when it came out, you can tell the rice was old as it was so dry, clumped together and hard. It was so obvious and couldn't believe the chef dishing the plate would even let it pass. I advised the staff and was given coconut rice instead. You also charged 10% surcharge on Sunday but we have to scan the QR, look at the menu from our phone and pay from there too. And you have a robot serving the food. Really cheapens the whole eating out experience. Compared to Laksa King at Glen Waverley, the customer service and food standard here is really poor compared to them where you actually have a nice dining experience.

The laksa here is truly spectacular. The quality, flavours and quantity is up there with the best. I'm super surprised at the amount of chicken they put in the laksa, it's fantastic! Very good value. Staff are friendly also and the restaurant is very nicely decorated and spacious. 🤩

Pleasantly surprised to find a Laksa King at Westfield Southland. Located in the row of restaurants by the movie theatre it was certainly a treat. Ordered the Laksa with fish fillets, Laksa with chicken and the dumplings noodles. The Laksa broth itself was very rich. A little too rich from the coconut but do ask for the sambal to cut through the richness and bring more spice to the flavour. It was perfect with the sambal. Fish fillet was more than expected and cooked to perfection. The dumpling broth however was over salty. Should have returned it but... Overall I hope they keep up the serving portions. Looking forward to try other dishes in the future.
