We stayed two nights and absolutely loved our time here! Rooms were great, staff was friendly, and they even chased me down the road after check out when I had left my airpods in the room. High quality in the heart of the town. Everything is walkable, and easy access to the train station which is how we arrived in town.
Quiet pub. Only sat in the lounge/bar tea but all pleasant. Did not try the rooms only the ale.. all real and plenty of choice. Would visit gin if I was passing. A friendly old fashioned pub. 👍🍻
stayed here for my birthday. I loved the tutor style building and how close it was to the shops. We paid just under £9 for the night and had a gorgeous 4 poster bed with a bath and shower. Breakfast was included and it didn't disappoint! The staff were always around to help. I would 100% visit here again!

Well I wasn't expecting much from just over £50 per room per night. Well was I surprised. Amazing friendly help staff. Good value food. Building is amazing. If your above 6ft our room was not for you however myself and my daughter at 5ft and a Peanut it was perfect. Bathroom was extremely modern for the age of the building. Great water pressure. We
The perfect spot for our visit. Central to everything and the atmosphere we were wishing for. We loved the history and quirkiness of the Inn. Dinner was delicious, the back courtyard was private, the beer great. The rooms are small, but you aren’t spending much time in them and the bathrooms were updated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, I’d stay again when coming back!
I'd managed to book a very last minute deal at The Pied Bull for £50 and upon checking in management upgraded us to a lovely four poster suite.
We had a couple of drinks in the pub downstairs that is actually the oldest establishment in Chester that got its liquor license.
The menu and food looked delicious but we already had reservations elsewhere so didn't try this time. Location was perfect, next door to the new @chesterindoormarket with all the different food vendors tempting you with their offerings.
Lovely room but bed poor quality,lovely and clean,fabulous shower in en-suite bathroom.
Nice breakfast but massively overpriced,beer expensive as well,but was a nice pint brewed on site.
All in all a great location and a great place to stay.
Just returned from a fantastic last minute budget break. Everything was great as location is so central with secure parking £10 4 24hr close by. We were on top floor in the heatwave so we were really grateful for the fan provided. Newly refurbished room and bathroom, nice shower everything very clean, can’t fault it, we will be back.
Amazing hotel, the room was beautiful and very spacious with added luxury. Amazing staff and service, the breakfast was the best we have had so far and we stay in a lot of hotels. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.
