I came here on a Friday evening and enjoyed our meal! The cocktails were great and all the dishes are prepared with delicate flavors. The menu is on the smaller side because the restaurant is farm-to-table and tries to cook with seasonal ingredients. The one downside was that the acoustics were rather bad, we were seated in the middle of the dining area and had a hard time hearing each other because it was quite loud.

Based on my experience at this restaurant last night, I can say with confidence that the only thing better than the food and the drinks was the service! Steve (or Stephen, maybe?) was an outstanding server. He was funny, knowledgeable about the food and drink menus, and attentive throughout the meal. My friend and I created our own tasting menu and our "courses" were brought out wonderfully. All the food tasted amazing and the drinks were terrific as well! We had one cocktail that tasted like lemon Pledge (I know, that sounds gross) but was still oddly enjoyable. Their menu changes regularly to use the freshest ingredients possible, so don't expect to find the same dishes you see in this and other reviews. But definitely patronize this place for their service.

I am giving a review of Grano Arso wedding reception. My beautiful niece was married there on 2/07/22. The owner handled everything with ease and class making it so special and allowed the bride and groom to enjoy everything at this classic Italian restaurant. Now onto the food. I have attached a picture of the main courses. It was amazing. Not one complaint from me. The Chef came out to make sure everything was perfect for everyone. Now to the appetizers which were amazing and featured several Italian favorites. I highly recommend. I look forward to visiting here again for dinner.

We won’t be back. We booked an 8 pm reservation weeks out for our 11 year anniversary, which the restaurant knew of. We arrived on time. Our table wasn’t ready. We were seated in the lounge to buy drinks so they could prepare the table. 20 minutes late, it was ready. The lounge server made sure to drop the check to collect a tip before she’d transfer us to our table. We sit, we do the tasting menu with wine pairings. The restaurant is a ghost town by 9:30. The staff shut down everything next to us while we’re eating. The message is clear. Get the hell out. Sweeping and swiffering near our tables, while we waited 20 minutes between each of the last two courses. I waited tables and bartended for 10 years. Even at the Olive Garden, you don’t clean your section around guests. But here we are. Their reputation has clearly gotten the best of them. Save your money. Go to Millwrights for a consistent, top class experience. This was embarrassing. We’ll never be back.

One of THE best restaurants in CT. Everything they do is fantastic. They use as many local ingredients as they can. All made from scratch. The menu changes often based on what's fresh. Not your traditional Italian menu.

We went for a Valentine's Day special dinner, and our dining experience was just so pleasant. Both the food and the service were impeccable, and they made our Valentine's dinner so special! Thank you so much for bringing these beautiful dishes into the world and for your amazing hospitality. We'll definitely come back on another occasion!

The food here is great. We’ve been back a few times. Their house made pasta is perfectly made and perfectly cooked, even the rye variety (which I’m not usually a big fan of). Their entrees have all been fantastic (the steak was particularly good) and so are their appetizers (the misticanza - or Italian salad - is one of the most wonderful things I’ve ever eaten, so sweet and crisp with perfect seasoning). Their cocktails are also really good.

Chef grinds his own wheat to make homemade pasta and bread. Farm to table INCREDIBLE food in a cozy little restaurant. The small town is adorable, a ton of very personable wait staff took care of my every need and the martinis were delicious (I just wish they used a better martini glass). I was so enchanted that I forgot to take pics! I guess I'll have to go back 😍
